Ordered a really nice carbon handlebar, just to find out it's stuck at DHL, and customer service is not doing anything nor even considering to refund my order, they totally ghosted me and just stopped replying to my email after contacting them by both email and phone, they just give always the same answers and do nothing, really disappointed at my "first" real experience with this shop. Avoid!

While I've placed several orders with bike discount in the past and received great service (items in stock, fair shipping, brand new items), my recent experience with returning products to them has stained that view. Their returns team did not collect my order, despite sending them several follow-up e-mails, they neglected collection for over a month and the return package was deemed abandoned by DHL and sent back to me AT MY EXPENSE (I live in Canada, it won't be cheap). It will be 3 months now since I sent them the return package. I've spoken to 3 different employees from BD, have been corresponding with one from the complaints department for over a month now, and to date he has played dumb, not offering any solutions to this issue, and rejected my requests to escalate the issue. This experience cannot coexist with a customer-oriented company. Avoid doing business with this company at all cost, there are 2 or 3 other German competitors with massively better customer service and same competitive prices (do your research)

customer service was terrible. took half a dozen emails just to get an answer regarding what shipping estimates are. Once that was finally answered, I had to ask, but never got a reply as to why the company chooses to save a couple dollars to send overseas with 20 day shipping instead of 2-3 day shipping....at least give the customer an option to pay that extra $2 to shave 2 weeks off delivery time. On top of all that, doesn't seem like my package went in the mail until 2 weeks after the order was placed based on shipment scans. Assuming my order ever gets here, I'll have had a new bike sitting in my apartment for over a month before I was able to make use of it while waiting for this order to arrive.

1. the shipment was handed over by us to DHL one day after your order. 2. it is DHL standard transport and not express. But for Express you would have had to pay not 2,- Dollar but at least 100,- Dollar more. Also important. Overseas shipping is currently delayed due to Corona and the Ukraine war.

Products and everything related to bikediscount eshop is great. Except there is a problem with shipping, that it is send by DHL, but at Lithuania border transfered not to DHL Lithuania, but a shady company called Itella, which usually does not contact you or deliver, but rather creates a lot of problems to customers (for example lie that no one was home and ship it back). I had to chase them really hard and go take my shipment by myself from warehouse.

I have made a partial return for 2 of my orders, tracking from DHL says they are delivered almost 3 weeks ago. But no return yet, no email, that they received anything. I have written to the support. They still didn't even answer me except for the automatic response that it make take till 5 days (already more than a week passed after I have written this email)

I think your European customer’s should be threatened equally, except German. I have bought from bike-discount with few thousand euros and never returned anything. My first did my first return and because I live in Northern Europe, I have to pay for the shipping. Prices are good but because of this I’m not sure if I’m going to use you anymore.

The assumption of shipping costs for returns by us is not provided in every case. This is what it says in the shipping conditions. In the case of justified complaints, of course, we always take over these costs.

My order was not delivered to me, wich might not be their problem, but when I tried to get some information, they just ignore you! I had to wait 4 days to get an answer on my mail ! My parts were delivered back to them by the courier service, so I asked to send it again. We are now 2 weeks further and I'm stil waiting......!

Dear customer, please excuse our delay in processing your request. First of all, there were problems with the delivery in Belgium by DPD. Unfortunately, the package came back to us. We have then arranged a reshipment with DHL and your arrangement. However, this actually took 4 days in our house. This is not good and but also not usual. We hereby apologize again and would be happy to welcome you again as a customer. By the way: the shipment from DHL will be delivered to you today. The parcel is in the delivery vehicle.

Nowhere on the basket page or payment dose it say taxes etc are due in uk and extra. Prices on website are including 19% tax. When googled bike discount uk it looks like you are a registered co in UK so no exta cost. If you want UK customers you need to sort this out like other EU shops have

In our web store, the important information for a delivery outside the EU is stated accurately and transparently. Since the Brexit we have created an extra info page with all the information. Since the Brexit also import taxes must be made in the UK. It differs there nothing from other countries
