The show was an excellent experience. The staff was welcoming and helpful. We were concerned about the language, as we do not understand German. However, to our surprise, there were small screens attached to each seat with translations available in different languages. Hence, could understand the story and truly enjoy the performance. I would recommend that the information regarding the translation is revealed in the website, so that it would encourage people who are not used to German to attend an opera show.

The quality of the performance and sound was very good. The quality of the English translation on the screens was poor. Also to view on the stage from where we were sitting was not optimal for a 100 euro ticket. It was also very warm in the opera hall. It was the first time we went to an opera and overall it was a worthwhile visit.

Booked tickets to an opera show in Venice via this website, it was presented in a way that suggested the website was official and connected to the event. This was not the case, they are just a third party vendor charging ridiculous fees for booking tickets which you could easily book yourself. Do not use, go directly to event website instead.
