I love that Superbalist offers next day delivery (in main city hubs), this was an absolute saving grace for me as I had a last minute event dress disaster that with the next day delivery was completely solved. The returns process is also fantastic and I have never had an issue. The variety and range is great for so many occasions and preferences. Amazing clothing as well as home goods. I love that some of the brands include the size of the model which really helps in deciding which size to take as well as the size finder. My only suggestion is that as a user I have no idea how to leave a review of items though, and I’m sure I’m not alone as many items don’t have reviews.

I logged a complaint on Google play. Never had an issue with Superbalist up until recently. Thede was bugs on the app which then incovenienced me heavily with a return. Superbalist then gave me a discount to make up for this. I used this discount but had to return everything as it didnt fit. So I lost out on the discount. Part of the returns was two jeans which didnt fit and Superbalist said its a 7 day return which I did not see as I know Superbalist has a 30 day return period which is very convenient for me as I travel alot. This particular return, I was travelling and did not have the items with me to return. Superbalist said they cant accept it as its outside the 7 day return period. This was another incovenience for me. I am a tall girl so I always buy two sizes to check which fits. Now I have two jeans that dont fit because Superbalist didnt accept the return. I turned to Zara app now as they have a 30 day return period on discounted items. I put this complaint on Google Play and Superbalist said I must contact customer care. I did not because of my previous experience and when I did contact customer care they did not accept the returns so why bother again .I will now stop using Superbalist due all the incovenience that happened.

This is the third time I have communicated this with no response from yourselves. I ordered a jacket from you for my husband pants arrived; I returned; he ordered on his account a jacket pants arrived. All your bar coding was incorrect. Jacket never materialised … so not sure how your system works or not.
Also ordered a mango jersey from you; medium too big returned and ordered a small the small was bigger than the medium returned for refund received refund- quality of your merchandise has deteriorated from when we first started using superbalist … f its not you then your suppliers aren’t giving you there best quality or just trying to get rid of stock … it was very disappointing as the wool and colour was lovely … my sister in Canada buys me a voucher so I could order something I liked and superbalist was always my first choice. Now will no longer give her that option

I ordered items and on 3 separate occasions, (1) my order was cancelled after having been confirmed (2) there were inconsistencies commuicated in terms of the order status (3) the cancelled items continued and still continue to be advertised as available despite 3 separate attempts to purchase these items (4) it has taken Superbalist more than 2 weeks to explain what happened. I still don't have an explanation of what actually happened (5) the refund process is tedious and takes long.
It should be easier and clearer to indicate to the buyer if stick for an item is actually available. I see items I'd like to purchase on Superbalist but I'm scared I'll get disappointed again and have orders cancelled while Superbalist holds funds for more than a week and stops me from making alternative purchases.

Do not take fees for "same day delivery" and then fail to deliver on three of every single one of your "rescheduled delivery" due to failure on YOUR Part to deliver on the same day, or the subsequent day or the day thereafter. Many people have this same complaint from what I've seen online. Your customer service is utterly useless and I was never even refunded for the "same day delivery" fee which I paid to you. My order never arrived after 3 times of you guys rescheduling whereafter I requested cancelation and a refund. Either your same day delivery is a scam and/or maybe you guys are deliberately be sabotaging the delivery because perhaps you don't actually have the stock as advertised on your site. Either way, you guys retain the delivery fee and fail to deliver. Sickening!

I sent the Jean back because it was a bit big and wanted a smaller size. Firstly I could not opt for the return drop off at a takealot point, the only option was collection from my house, meaning that I had to arrange for someone to be home for the pick up. The replacement Jean was ordered and was suddenly cancelled without anyone notifying why it was cancelled. I had to call the call centre to find out what was happening only to get an apology email and a 10% discount code which I have not used. This was so unprofessional.

They delivered my parcel on a Sunday. Some people are not home on a sunday and the fact that takealot works on a sunday does not mean everyone must be available. I spoke to Ivan and specifically mentioned to deliver on the Tuesday. He said he would try and update the date and low and behold, someone came to deliver the Monday. I was away hence me choosing Tuesday. My order was eventually cancelled by someone even though i still wanted it and I am still waiting for my money.

Poor communication, as you do not communicate when you will deliver the order.I did an exchange and i was emailed the day they will come to collect and your couriers came before the date you said I must prepare the collection. I have two different exchange and but when they came to deliver the fist order they said said i must swap with the second order which they have not communicated that with me I really need someone to explain to me your process i am so not satisfied.

Delayed delivery issues
Delivery of products took longer thank expected.The products were to be delivered in the 3rd of April 2024 but were delivered on the 5th of April. From my understanding the delivery address was not appearing for the driver. I understand such things happen at times but it is inconvenient and disappointing.
Based on previous orders tho was an exception as delivery is usually on time.
I received all my products in perfect condition, thank you.

Ghost in the machine
I had a great relationship with Superbalist but rover the last several months something has gone awry with their system, my items arrive either 2 sizes too small or it's a totally different garment. My reasons on my exchange request form are totally ignored because the wrong items are exchanged for the exact same wrong items. I tried a number of times with no success so I have given up and am now parting ways with Superbalist.

My experience...
I love superbalist and I order quite often however I would be careful when ordering shoes cause their sizes aren't normal, I ordered with the help of their sizing charts and still it was incorrect . I ordered a size 8 shoe and when it arrived it didn't even fit a size 5 foot.
The second issue is when an item is out of stock they do not inform you, they allow you to proceed with payment and then offer you a credit.

The goods I have ordered, arrived damaged of which wants caused due to transit.
I have returned the order, of which Superbalist refunded me my money but on my wallet linked to my profile.
They do not have more of those slippers left, and I do not fancy any other available on the site. Instead of giving my money back, it is now stuck on their wallet initiative and I am experiencing the loss.

Delivery Options
I wanted to change my delivery option from collection to delivery. My order qualified for free delivery, however, when I spoke to your agents I was informed that they are unable to change this as the system does not allow for this. So was a bit of a schlep to collect my order as I have moved.
I selected delivery, went out of the screen and back, and it defaulted back to collection.

Five pairs of shoes ordered, two pairs delivered were completely the wrong size. Both pairs I actually really wanted.
One pair of shoes from Aldos, opened the box to find it filled with rodent droppings.
Felt like a colossal waste of time.
Sadly the only part that worked well was the system to return the goods. Wish the same care was taken with what was delivered.

The item I purchased was on special I was charged full price, I sent a screen shot showing the item was still on special, however they said specials are time sensitive. Every single day I check the special is still on and no credit is forthcoming.
I am so very disappointed. The item is not worth R6000 each.
I have received no assistance.

Some of the brands are poor quality at max prices - the photos make the garments seem spectacular, but in reality the quality is shocking (at those prices) I recently paid R899 for a coat that felt like I was fitting plastic.
Let's be honest with H&M and Cotton on at least you know what you are getting.

Customer care is poorly managed and the people there conduct themselves as if they own the place and nobody can tell them nothing. You cannot reason with them at all, they are not patient at all, very arrogant people. The clothes are amazing, delivery always on time and I will continue because of that.

As per image of my order, the running tights have a zip at the back. This is exactly what I want as I am a runner and can put my car keys and mobile inside the pocket. When I received my item - no pocket with zip at the back. I was so sad as this has never happened to me with Superbalist.

I find that superbalist’s customer service is great.
However, they usually only have very limited sizes (and extremely low stock on those they have) and I have received the wrong item a few times - wrong size in a children’s h&m top and now completely wrong size and item in right box.

I ordered shoes and the order somehow got the size wrong. I picked it up right away and notified them. But it could not be changed and the order had to first be canceled, then a refund given, and then I had to reorder my shoes at the different size.
Not a great user experience.
