I love the screen free learning and fun. Promotes independence. Great variety of topics.
The timio does not turn off on its own after some time, as stated on the website! In fact it continues to talk on its own and drains the batteries, which need frequent replacement if not manually turned off. Wakes my child up in the middle of the night when he falls asleep with it because of this (without him having touched it). Some of the sounds are a little strange... for instance on the sea creatures disc, the shark sounds like a roaring dinosaur!?
I also wish I knew the product was British English not American English.

We have a 1st gen TIMIO that we have loved for years. I bought the new stories as my daughter has listened to the other ones 100s of times. We installed the new SD card and it will work until you turn the unit off, or after a period of inactivity. Then it says to insert the new SD card. We then need to unscrew the back take it out, put it back in and try again. Sometimes we have to do that multiple times for it to work. Then if we want to play one of the old disks now we need to put in the old SD card. We essentially don't use it anymore, which is super unfortunate. My daughter really liked listening to stories before she fell asleep, but now it is just a source of frustration. .

Qualité du plastique à revoir. Un sac de rangement pour le lecteur ou juste un plus grd sac.
Les zones sensibles ne correspondent pas exactement avec les dessins, l'enfant n'a pas le réflexe d'appuyer vers l'extérieur.
Cela reste un jouet sympa et facile d'accès même pour les tout petits.
Dommage que les disques soient si chers, et limités.

Je trouve que les exemples de phrases n est pas des plus judicieux, cela parasite un peu l information essentielle
J aurais apprécié un système pour bloquer le changement de langues car très vite l enfant change tout le temps de langue

Décrire derrière chaque disque le contenu!
Le rangement des disques est difficile même dans le sac à dos prévu!
Le carton de l’appareil pourrait se transformer en rangement des disques !

Ce qui pourrait être amélioré c'est le fait que si on enlève le disque (ou que l'enfant l'enlève par inadvertance) l'histoire ou la musique ne doive pas reprendre à 0

Mijn zoon vindt het super leuk. Hij zingt de liedjes mee en kan het zelf besturen. Ook het verwisselen van de discs. Ik heb wat discs apart gelegd voor als hij wat ouder is.
Wel stootte hij ermee tegen de bank aan, waarna de Timio het niet meer deed. Het leek alsof de batterijen geen verbinding meer maakten. Na de batterijen er opnieuw in te hebben gedaan, deed het apparaat het weer. Dit is daarna nog een keer voortgekomen. Het lijkt mij dat een apparaat dat geschikt is voor deze leeftijd wel tegen een stootje zou moeten kunnen.

Me gustó el sistema en si. Lastima que no hay portugués de Brasil...
Sugerencias es la opción de no haber luces parpadeando mientras si pone el disco sonidos de cuna pues molesta los bebés. Y que hubiera opción de que sonarán todas de forma automática

Also as mentioned in the user manual : ) you can play all songs or stories automatically by holding your finger on any of the images for 3 seconds, until the light double blinks. // Olá, se você deseja que o brasileiro substitua o português europeu, você pode baixá-lo em nosso site! Também como mencionado no manual do usuário : ) você pode reproduzir todas as músicas ou histórias automaticamente, mantendo o dedo em qualquer uma das imagens por 3 segundos, até que a luz pisque duas vezes.

Wat een fijn schermvrij apparaatje. Vooral de luisterverhaaltjes en liedjes zijn fijn. Lijkt me leuk er meer van te hebben. Mijn dochter van 2,5 kan er helemaal zelf mee aan de slag, leert er allemaal liedjes van en kan zich op haar kamertje in alle rust vermaken. Heel blij mee!
Verbeterpuntje:
Een functie dat de verhaaltjes blijven doorgaan zou handig zijn.
Batterijen erbij is wel mooi bij de prijs inbegrepen.

Thank you for the nice review! Yes the continuous play is included, it's mentioned in the User Manual, but we know, who reads the user manual? ; ) ... Hold your finger on any icon of a story or a song for 3 seconds and TIMIO will play all the songs or stories continuously!
