I purchased the Epson EcoTank ET8550 printer on October 28, 2023, and I would like to share my experience with this purchase. Firstly, regarding the printer itself, I am extremely satisfied. The print quality, especially for photos, exceeded my expectations – the colors are vibrant, and the details are sharp. The automatic double-sided printing feature is an additional benefit that greatly facilitates work. The printer perfectly fits my needs, both for home use and for small office tasks. However, I must mention an aspect that was a source of stress. Namely, the order fulfillment time. I expected the delivery to take up to 4 business days, but on the fifth business day, not having received the printer yet, I contacted the store. The response came from an Irish customer service address, informing me that a reply might take up to 3 business days. This caused me concerns about whether I would receive the printer before the holidays. Eventually, the printer arrived on December 11, 2023. In summary, despite some issues with the delivery time, I am very satisfied with the purchase. The Epson EcoTank ET8550 meets all my expectations in terms of quality and functionality. I would recommend it to others, but I would also advise the store to work on improving communication and predictability of delivery times.

Packing badly packed with one tape along the top of box only. Box was opened at my front door as tape became loose. The people in their packaging dept are pure idiots. Look at the photo and this is the way my box was left at my front door on a rainy day. Notice one piece of tape along the top edge of box. I have brought this to their attention but doubt that they will do anything to rectify this. Also they say that they price match which is a lie because they refused on two occasions with me to price match.

Easy enough to deal with but my only gripe that I have is they should be more up front time wise regarding their products on special order. I ordered a Bean Bag which they called a special order but they did not state on their website how long it would take for the product to arrive. I am heading to Kenya for a Safari early Oct but now they have informed me that I won’t have the Bean Bag until the end of Oct. If they had stated this when I was ordering it I would not have purchased the Bean Bag from them but from another camera store.

Extremely Disappointing Experience – Avoid at All Costs!

I had a terrible experience with Photospecialist. I placed an order for three items, expecting delivery within 3-4 days as promised. However, not only did two of the items never arrive, but the one that did was damaged – delivered in an open box with visible crack. Despite the broken condition, they asked me to return the item before even considering a refund, completely disregarding my need for it in ongoing projects. As for the missing items, Photospecialist failed to provide any helpful updates and shifted the blame to DHL, claiming they needed to investigate before issuing a refund. This is absurd since, under consumer rights law, the responsibility lies with them to ensure delivery. Their customer service was unhelpful, dismissive, and made me feel like my concerns were irrelevant. I had to constantly follow up and repeat myself, with no real resolution in sight. The entire experience was frustrating, time-consuming, and left me feeling utterly neglected as a customer. I had to purchase the missing items elsewhere to meet my deadlines. Photospecialist has shown no professionalism, and I strongly advise against using them for any purchases.

Thanks for your review, how frustrating to read that it all went so awkwardly. I can well imagine that it is annoying that the shipment arrived broken and that you had to wait for an investigation with the other shipment. It is true that we are responsible for the shipment, that is why we have started an investigation, we must give DHL time to find out where the package is, maybe it was close by and it could still be delivered quickly. I can imagine that waiting for this can be frustrating. I will investigate everything and contact you in the hope that I can help you further. My apologies for the inconvenience. Update, I see you were in contact with my colleague yesterday and the refund has been initiated, nice to read that it has finally been resolved, again sorry for all the inconvenience.

Quality product, reasonable price and prompt delivery. My only issue was that it came with an EU plug which wasn't clearly flagged on the website.

Nice to read that it meets your quality. It is indeed true that an EU plug is included, this has to do with the fact that we ship from the Netherlands. Sorry for the inconvenience and that this was not clearly stated.

Scammers! Avoid! EOS 2000D came in an original box, but without the kit lense. A cheaper one without IS was in the parcel inside FY. NEVER AGAIN.

Hello, Thanks for your message, I checked your order and see that you ordered theCanon EOS 2000D + 18-55mm DC (incl. Bag, Extra Battery and 64GB SD), you indicate in the review that you received a cheaper lens (the DC) instead of the IS version. This lens is not included in this package. Could it be that you thought the IS version would be included or did you see this somewhere? I would love to hear from you.

Good quality product at a good price and quick response from customer service when I enquired about delivery time. Delivery took a bit longer than I would have expected but wouldn't have had a problem with if I knew in advance - a delivery date at time of ordering would be a good addition to the purchase process.

Disappointed and Surprised how a company like this is still working

I placed an order for a Fujifilm xs10.. weote an email with regards to delivery and address details.. the agent confirmed the same and informed whatever questions were asked.. a few days later i noticed the camera was out of stock soo i wrote back to the agent and was informed the stock was not updated and they do not have the camera in stock and will offer a refund.. this was supposed to be my first camera and such a bad experience from a third class company.. never buy anything from them

The stock always takes some time to update, because we also have stores and then the item you wanted, is out of stock. My colleague tried to cancel the order, but his computer wasn't working, so he had to ask the administration to do so, that is why it took longer. I am so sorry that this would be your first camera and this was your experience with us and I will contact you via email to see if there is anything I can do for you.

We ship from the Netherlands, hence the delivery time is slightly longer. Great to read that it is a good product, I wish you lots of fun with it!

Dreadful

Dreadful. Ordered an item worth over €500 more than 2 weeks ago ( 2 day delivery quoted). To date no sign of the item and no one seems to know where it is . I have sent them emails and, apart from the initial contact, nothing further.
