The only big problem with the shop is the Irish site is not up to date. The customer service is not available on the contact number and the email address also doesn't work. I had to do a serious investigation to find a proper customer service contact for them, eventually, the info@photospecialist.co.uk email address worked and I got a decent response from their customer service and the item arrived in time in perfect condition.

ordered 5 items and was sent 1 single tracking number. All supposedly packed together according to the emailed packing slip. 1 item arrived, 2 days after scheduled date, in its retail box no outer packaging just a label stuck on. boxed arrived damaged, looks like it was dropped as side ripped and crushed. No Irish power lead, only an eu one, so cannot check if item damaged. customer service contacted and no apology and blamed shipping company, while they tried they did not make any attempt to ease my frustration, offer compensation or a replacement. Not good enough.

When You Need Camera Gear In Europe
On so many items you have the best prices in Europe and often even cheaper than China or the US, so very impressive and great! Very quick shipping, reliable and a great selection of stock. I can't say much about your customer service because I'm pretty sure in over a year I've never had to deal with it, that simple! I'd highly recommend photospecialist, no question.

every time I called the support line to find out where my package was I got an answer machine saying there's no support person to take your call. That happened many times (and not over lunch time for instance).
Also the chat bot does not work
I used email in the end and it took 2 days to get back to say they were looking into it.

Competitively priced, good range of equipment and good communication. I have used photospecialist a few times and they are a trusted source of equipment.
I have used Cokin Filters many years ago, their ease of use and big range is a great photographic addition. The ND range of filters are vey useful

Fast, helpful, quick to deliver
Lots of choice, great service, fast delivery. Ordered a Canon 2000D and it came with zero hassle maybe 5 days later (across countries). Customer support were quick to help me with delivery questions, and the camera arrived in great knick a few days later. Would recommend them to anyone.

Easy to deal with and happy to talk on the phone - a real person! Order was processed and arrived in the time frame they promised. It was an awkward mix of a studio lighting stand and filters for a flash gun but they packaged it up just perfectly. Full marks.

The E-mail Notification when the camera came back in stock. The Competitive Price was Excellent (saving 80 Euro from the price of same shop display model). The Rapid Delivery Time. The 5 Year Warranty (One local shop will only give 2 years guarantee)

It was a fast delivery, unfortunately the product wasn't sealed and some items were missing from the kit (battery). The product itself is to my liking and I am in communication with photosepecialist to get the missing battery.

Price was good but…
Ordered an Eizo CG319X from photo specialist. Price was good, delivery notifications were vague with tracking handover between DHL and An Post unclear and not specific. Mains lead supplied was inappropriate for the region.

Amazing Service

Great products, bad delivery
Shop has an amazing stock of products, however the chosen delivery partners are very slow and your package takes a frustrating amount of time to arrive. I'd like to have the option to pay more for a faster shipping.

They have Polaroid film in batches of 40 shots which works out almost 2 times less expensive than packs of 8 which are more widely available. The delivery was prompt, as advertised. I'm very happy with the purchase.

Great company to buy stuff from
I bought Hama monopod with 3 small stabilising feet. It was difficult enough to find one online and I got it at a very reasonable price and the quality of the product is excellent. It arrived fairly promptly too.

Qhick resolution of issues
My purchase included a power charger which had the incorrect (2-pin) plug. Once I notified them, they immediately apologised and dropped an adapter in the post which arrived a few days later.

Great webshop with actual stock.
Compared to other Irish webshops they do have the items on stock they show on their webshop and the shipment from the Netherlands is even faster then all the, so called, domestic Irish shops.
