I cannot fault Mr Marvis. I ordered "The Pontoons" Seersucker Swimshorts and they are great quality and very well made.
At first, I thought they were too expensive for me but were the only option I could find that have a concealed zipped pocket at the front, with a zip-fly and popper closure. I challenge you to find another!
Ended up spreading the cost of the purchase over 3-months using a Klarna virtual credit card payment, so, win!

As soon as I opened the box I could see how poor a quality they were.
They looked as if they had been worn with a white faded area around the zip area which you get if someone has had them a while or has ironed them on the front.
Once saw this I didn’t even take them out to try, I would expect far better quality for £79, I could get 5 pairs for the same price and better quality at Primemark or 4 at Next.

All the buttons on the fly started to come away after two wears, very poor quality stitching. Buttons have now come off after 4 wears.
The quality of the stitching was matched by equally poor quality customer service. I was told I should go and get them repaired at my own expense and they would offer £15 of the repair cost. No mention of a replacement pair.
Only when I explained what great customer service looks like did they offer a replacement pair but not until I could prove I had sent the faulty pair back to them first. Where’s the trust in that relationship?
Avoid the shorts and the company at all costs.

I had ordered two shorts. First time the delivery went through some issues, didn't arrive. I reported to the seller's team and they shipped a replacement immediately. That's the good part. When the package arrived, I was expecting really high quality shorts. Instead, I opened two decent pairs. One without the zip, the other one with one. Probably my bad I didn't check and assumed that men's shorts have zippers ;) I won't be ordering again. Too expensive for something available at half the cost elsewhere!

I ordered 3 items 2 weeks ahead of holiday and the first time it was returned to sender before leaving Amsterdam and the 2nd time it never cleared customs in the U.K. I realise that this is an issue with their delivery partner but it was a disappointing experience overall which is a shame as their clothes are very nice.
