There is nothing not to like about 'gardens4you.ie'. The plants were so fresh looking. The service was fast. The packing really impressed me as they not only had such a strong box, but it was divided so as to protect the more fragile plants.On top of this the prices were great, but something that I really, really appreciated (because I am a bit of a novice on plants & don't know one from another ) was the fact that for each plant that I had purchased, they enclosed a sheet explaining exactly how to plant each item along with a photo so that I knew which was which.Before I got my parcel I was thinking that I would have to go back on the website to see which plant was which and what to do with it, but this page saved me all of that bother, so I was delighted to find this sheet enclosed.I definitely give this company full marks all round and am saving up to buy some more plants.

In the last order, I received two plants. one of which was not the plant I ordered. When I told customer service at Gardens4You, they said the plant was the right one, just the light made it look different. When I was still unhappy (knowing plants as well as I do and growing them for well over 60 years, an agent wrote that they would talk to their manager. This was well over a week ago and no further word received. I am tremendously disappointed in what I previously thought was a great nursery. I think telling me I was in error in quite a casual way was nothing less than an insult. Because the quality of the plant I was happy with was good, I thought it only fair to give some stars. I'm sad that I will never biuy from them again. I also, by the way, pointed out some mislabelling on their sales pages, for instance the photo supposed to be Chlorophytum 'Bonnie' was patently not it. You can see this for yourself, as they haven't bothered to change anything, whether this is arrogance or stupidity, I cannot decide.

One of the earlier creepers you gave me died ...I have pictures i sent you they were in awful shape when you sent them. Nobody offered to send another one. I went back to you again as its nearer spring and i expected better quality but the creeping campanula i just got were tiny little plants with no flowers, your not cheap but the quality of the plants is not fantastic. Your fast and you have a wide range towards other centres but you need to up the quality and don't be mean about it ....if you send a dead plant, (which you shouldnt - replace it) lin keaveney

In winter period the plants are dormant, we have -3ºC in the morning in Holland. Do not be alarmed if you receive your plants without leaves, the nights are still cold these plants are deciduous, so it’s normal for them to look like that. This does not mean it’s dead, in fact it’s still very much alive. If you follow our guidelines enclosed, you will be rewarded in the growing season by watching your plants grow into mature and very strong plants. Rest assured your order is guaranteed you just need to trust our experience. We wish you lots of success with your garden.

Three stars. Simply for the fact that I thought I was buying from an Irish company. Its an Irish website , Dutch company. Makes things awkward for using plant feed as there is no English instructions what so ever , dutch and German only. A bit irritating to receive a product with no English instructions ( especially when buying 150e worth of plants and plant feed will figure it out its just a meere type and translate in Google. Highly recommended that this company fixes that issue though. 5 stars all the way if so , for efficiency, fast and easy service.

It is not a secret that our company is based in the Netherlands our address is visible on the website and we explain who we are and what we do in the section "Who we are". We have check in our system you place the order 3-1031590 and we can clearly see the care and planting instruction of your order in English It's a pity that you take away stars for something that is in your language like the first instruction of your order below: Citrus trees - during spring and summer fertilize regularly with a standard liquid fertilizer. Always apply water from the top of the plant allowing the excess to drain. Never let the plant sit in water, it will cause rot. Plants with fruit should be kept in a light place in the living room for the winter next to a bright window. Plants without fruit should be kept in a light but cool place (10°-20°C) to promote budding such as a windowsill. This plant is cold resistant, but not frost resistant. They can be brought inside for the winter and left back out in the summer. Each spring the shrub ought to be transplanted to a larger pot, use an Azalea or heather type potting compost. Pruning should occur during the period of dormancy or right when the new spring growth appears. For additional instructions see product packaging.

Good selection and delivery time plus good response from customer service however out of three orders I have placed 1 had incorrect plants and 1 was missing a couple of plants. While I was refunded it is frustrating not to get what you have ordered when you are planning your garden.

Normally can't complain, but this time I was disappointed with the waste of packaging, still waiting for my plants to arrive as I'm aware they come in two lots, but I was sent a plant pot in this massive box!! Hoping the delay in my plants don't leave them to shock up on arrival

I won’t buy plants online anymore, it doesn’t worth what you paid. I spent 17 euros plus 12 postage only got a small Monstera without pot. However I bought a much bigger one with pot in local store only took 15 euros. So don’t waste your money buying plants online

I had ordered a palm and a pot as a thank you gift for relatives in Dublin. The two items were not delivered at the same time! (I am not sure whether the first or the second delivery was accompanied by the thank you card - was too embarrassed to ask.)

We are obliged to send plants and pot separately otherwise the plant would be crushed by the pot. the pot must also be secured during transport, its ceramic breaks easily in case of shock. We had attached the packages together (bundle) they were separated by the carrier where the delivery on 2 different days what we regret.

Didn't realise plants were despatched from Netherlands but they seem to be OK from the 5 day transit. However the two pots I also ordered were completely broken. Have asked for refund on these. Should have been wrapped so much better.
