I don't know the part played by /USA/ other than billing because I understand that the person I was in contact with, Diane Van Ruymbeke, was in France. The parts shipped from France. I am always reluctant to place orders in foreign countries, having to give my credit card details. My payment preference is with Paypal with which, for unknown reasons, could not process the payment. Diane was very patient, informative and friendly with me to the point where I felt secure and confident enough to pay with my credit card. The order shipped that day and is now in Montreal awaiting Customs clearance. I was very impressed. When I checked my credit card I saw that it was billed to bionic bird/USA/ . Whatever, I am very satisfied with my experience with bioni bird and will be considering future putchases from them.

I was a little deflated in that I expected the product to be a little more hefty. The size of the bionic bird/ Metabird is similar in size to a American Goldfinch. My perception of the device based on images was that it was the size of a cardinal or blue jay and was heftier in construction. I would definitely recommend purchasing the product it's certainly is an interesting way of flying but I definitely would recommend first time users to buy a second set of wings as my first set of wings were damaged quickly with average flight time. I think it would have been nice for the company supplied two sets of wings along with the as additional stability components. Overall, it's good and works with impressive tech. Happy flying!

We appreciate your honest feedback and are delighted to hear that you find the flying experience offered by MetaBird, as well as the technology incorporated into it, interesting. We apologize for any confusion regarding the size of the product. To clarify, MetaBird does indeed have a similar size to an American Goldfinch but is slightly larger. To provide a better idea, with the tail and wings attached, MetaBird measures approximately 17 cm (6.7 inches) in length and has a wingspan of 33 cm (13 inches). In comparison, an American Goldfinch typically measures around 11 to 14 cm (4.3 to 5.5 inches) in length with a wingspan of about 19 to 22 cm (7.5 to 8.7 inches). We appreciate your suggestion and will take it into consideration for future improvements. If you have any further feedback or questions, please don't hesitate to let us know. We value your input and strive to provide the best possible experience. Thank you for choosing MetaBird, and we hope you continue to enjoy using it!
