Excellent business practice! My shipment (sent to the United States) was taken by customs in Ohio; totally illegal for them to do so as foie gras is permitted into this country from France. Monsieur Pascal replaced the foie, no charge to me, and it was done immediately. Thank you very much Carol for your message and your trust. Working with US customs is not always easy. It works without any problem for 99% of the shipments but sometimes for no particular reason, the customs officers block the packages. If that happens, Foie Gras Gourmet immediately reimburses the customer or sends back an identical package.. accompanied by a few small gifts to apologize

Fast delivery by DHL. However, the foie was stolen apparently at customs in Cincinnati, Ohio. The box arrived with DHL empty! I immediately contacted Foie Gras Gourmet and they immediately offered free replacement or a refund of my money. I preferred to have a new shipment of foie.
Cannot say enough good about Foie Gras Gourmet and heir business integrity, I would definitely buy from them again,

Importation fees clear and paid easily online via fedex website.
Very good quality, real French Label Rouge duck confit ( and I'm French, so I know what I'm talking about :-) )
Exactly what I was looking for.
A bit pricey though with the importation fees. I'd like to pay in euro as well, as I still have a european account. It would be cheaper for me.

My communication with the owner is perfect and most enjoyable.
Courteous, friendly, very efficient service. Orders are processed promptly and it only takes a few days to receive the foie gras. The products are of excellent quality. I am totally pleased with foiegrasgourmet and will hopefully be a repeated customer for a long time.

Thank you very much for your message. it is exactly that, a foie gras much better than that which one finds in the supermarkets of the large cities. the same quality of foie gras but that you can buy in the small towns of the south west of France
