In 2017, I purchased an Eight Day "After the Hunt" cuckoo clock. It arrived in excellent condition. To this day, (03/28/2023) the clock maintains perfect time. I decided to order another clock. This time it was an Eight "Day Before the Hunt" cuckoo in July, 2022. From the time that I removed the clock from the carton, there were issues. The metal stem was bent behind the pendulum causing an issue with raising the lowering the leaf. To makes matters worse, the weights spun around aggressively while winding the clock, followed by an auditable clunk. Basically, this is an indication that the chains are defective, and hereby causing the problem. This type of action, if not taken care of can ruin the gears in the movement overtime. Oh yes, I immediately contacted Cuckoo-Clock.com about the issue(s). Naturally, they went on a defense. Even after sending them one photo and one video of the problems that I experienced. I was able to fix the stem behind the pendulum. However, the chain issue needed to be addressed. All I wanted was to have set replacement chains sent. Instead, with the translation barrier, there was miscommunication. So, I have to shell out $48 on a set of new chains for a clock that was advertised as new. The final result was, a reluctantly heavy discount was applied to the purchase, and I was informed that I would not be allowed to make future purchases from this company. "These clocks are made by hand", so I was told. My next question was, and still is, do you not test the clock(s) prior to shipping????

We originally selected three potential models but, before final selection, after viewing the video of the birds feeding the nest, we decided to select that model because of that particular and amazing feature. Unfortunately, your video was taken directly observing the face of the clock and there was no indication that from a different angle, the moving cuckoos birds could be quite an obstruction to the hours display. Actually, from our seating positions at the table as well as the position of the clock on the wall, and in our case, these cannot be altered, the hour display is poor to quite unreadable. A shocking reality since our previous cuckoo clock in the exact same setup was easily readable from all angles and also had music as well as carousel. The new clock meets all its specifications but, in our case, if there had been a note to the users to be aware of that limitation, we would have selected another model. It is quite a disappointment. The clock itself is gorgeous. Works perfectly. However, the set up instructions need clarification. I had difficulty setting it up. So, I sent an email to the company for help however, no one returned my email, so I had to figure it out on my own through the internet. Also, delivery was delayed from the expected delivery date and I had to hunt down my package. Found out it was hung up in customs. I ended up having to pay an extra cost to get the clock released to me. This unexpected cost {approx $80) was not listed, when I initially ordered the clock through the website. In my opinion, all fees should be listed when ordering so the consumer knows the bottom line cost. You shouldn't be surprised by the significant extra delivery fee. I live in Canada.

I’ve been running the clock for a while now and it’s not holding time. It’s constantly running slow and loosing time. I have it balanced on the wall and level and I’m not 100% happy with it. It’s pretty don’t get me wrong but I’m not thrilled. I’ve been considering returning it.

Ordered four clocks. Promised delivery was about one month. Two clocks were shipped “on time” but were held for another 10 days due to shipping info. I ended up paying for it. Almost seven weeks since I first ordered and the other two clocks have yet to be shipped.

1st order was processed quickly and shipped - 2 clocks. Problem was there was a delay in the US and the shipment was held up. I was charged a nominal fee by FedEx and I paid it. This all delayed the delivery of the clocks.

I sent email advising of the figurine detached/broken during shipping, and have not received a response. Do i return for replacement? If i repair, won’t that diminish the value of the clock? Please respond to this.

Received clock sooner than expected. But the functions of the clock received Are Not as described on website!

The Clock was defective and had to be sent for repair, so that was disappointing.
