I would like to take this opportunity to thank Kelly for the Thailand, Cambodia, and Malaysia tour she developed for us for the period of 17 March to 17 April 2023. Now that I have returned home and had time to reflect on our experiences I can safely say you exceed my expectations in so many ways.
During the planning stage you collected the appropriate information, developed a plan, then responded to my feed back in a timely manner. Your degree of planning showed an excellent understanding of the local environment and its challenges. The end result was an efficient tour that provided a good balance of cultural immersive, fun and, time to recover just when needed. In addition you provided updates whenever changes like flight times occurred and local points of contact given should a concern arise. Your updates demonstrated you were looking ahead of our tour progress making certain there were no problems.
The local tour guides you selected were consistently excellent. They were very engaging, knowable, and energetic. They would discuss what was planned, and how it was to be done, and if there were any questions or changes we wished to make. Time after time when we went to a venue they knew the best way to get there, already had the tickets or forms to get right in and then provided an excellent experience. At the end of the event they had an air conditioned vehicle waiting for us with cool towels and ice water. In this hot climate this was very much appreciated. Not having to stand around waiting added to the overall enjoyment.
I can not say enough about your excellent logistics planning. We never felt rushed, when we got to a hotel we were always expected and they were ready for us. All seven of the flights we took were well planned. The guides would take us to the airport and check us in to be certain there was no problems. When we arrived at our destination there was always someone waiting for us and we were off without any delays. In the one instance where there was a question about having the necessary country visa for a flight. Not only were you quickly available but you produced an alternate plan that actually got us to our next destination a few hours sooner than originally planned.
How and where one travels is a highly personal decision. But through your interview you obtain the necessary information to provide us the appropriate type tour. The overall experience was excellent and something we will remember forever.
Your being recognized as one of the most trustworthy tour operators is well deserved.

We had a fantastic self drive holiday arranged through TravelLocal in Costa Rica for 22 days which included 8 hotels, many guided tours and 10 days car hire. The travel app kept us informed all the way and its was great to have the freedom of a personal holiday with all the support you would get from a Group tour when you needed it. I have no hesitation in recommending both CRS Tours and TravelLocal too.

Gods own contry, Kerela and Goa
This tour were fantastic. both historically, of it's kindness and Beauty. The hotels were in a very good standard and Dennis, the driver was extremely helpfull and trustworthy.
I found the visit in the village very learning and the inhabitants welcomed me.
Also all the guides planned for the tour had a good background to be informative, and a very good spoken English.

A Perfect 2Weeks in India
Our first guide, Armar Singh
and his driver were outstanding, the best hotel was the Taj Ganges in Vanarasi.
The only minor problem was not knowing in advance how to get from Delhi airport to the Holiday Inn and then back to the airport: but it was of course all organised.

Travelling locally and sustainably with Travel Local
We have used TravelLocal 3 times now over the last 5 years - a month n Sri Lanka, a month in India and a month in Vietnam. All have been great. Lonely Planet is our bible so we are pretty clear on our itinerary and accommodation requirements and to have had it all stitched together seamlessly with a fabulous driver and great additions on the back of understanding our interests is so appreciated. We are already planning our next trip and it will be with Travel Local. Thank you!

Trip Planning and Services With a Personal Touch
Elena did a fabulous job planning our two week trip to Greece. The itinerary included a combination of major historical sites like the Parthenon, Olympia and Delphi along with fun cultural activities like visiting a honey farm, wine and olive oil tasting and trips to the beach. I loved the hotels in each location. They were in great locations and included breakfast. But what made this trip exceptional were the people who provided their professional services included our driver, Michael, and the tour guides at the archaelogical sites. They were so knowledgeable and friendly and made us feel welcome!

Pilgrimage to Patmos
There are several ways that I could describe my experience with Elena and Greece Insiders Travel.
I could say that the experience was below average, average, good, excellent, or outstanding. In my case the trip and the planning were more than outstanding.
Everything was so easy, from communications to the the payment. I can't thank Elena enough. This was my first time traveling outside the US for pleasure and I was traveling alone. I needed someone that I could trust to guide me along the way and that is exactly what I received.
Everything went perfectly, from my arrival at the airport in Athens and being met by a professional driver who knew where he was going, and oriented me to the city on the ride to the hotel, to my departure on Aegean Airlines for my return to Athens from the islands, which was coordinated perfectly with my domestic airline flight for the trip home.
At the hotel I received a welcome packet with my final detailed instructions for the trip. The tickets I needed for the ferry trip were included in the packet. The packet had dates and times for everything. To include, when I was to be where and who would be meeting me there. Everyone was on time as promised. Additionally, there were pictures of the hotels I would be staying with times for check in.
The tour guides were outstanding. I went to Greece to learn about the country and I was very well educated by the tour guides. I cannot thank them enough.
It was a please to learn from them.
My private tour guide in Patmos stated that in in Greece it is important to get value for your money. I truly received value for the money I paid from the trip.
Because I was not familiar with the country I had to depend on Elena to guide my itinerary choices. She was able to structure my trip so that I received everything that I hoped to get from the trip. She really listened and got it right.
All I had to do was enjoy the trip. When I go back with my friends on a more complicated trip I will not hesitate to use Greece Insiders Travel and I hope I can get Elena to plan my trip. I felt like a VIP as I traveled Greece.
Again, my experience with Greece Insiders Travel was outstanding.

Overall a Great Travel Experience to Greece
I'm writing my review here because this is the place I found some reviews before taking the plunge to use Travel Local. Admittedly I was skeptical of the high marks. And here I am giving a 5-star because my experience with the website and my local expert was top-notch. I do think the website could have more customization options but that's not enough for me to dock a star off since Vangelis' local expertise made up for it.
Like most travel plans, not everything goes as planned perfectly and you should always expect some unexpected. For example, one of my tours was cancelled and rescheduled for another day. Vangelis was of course quick to inform me about it. Having Travel Local's local expert comes in very handy here. I also had to check out really early from one of the hotels I stayed at, and weirdly, there was no receptionist to hand over my key at the time of checkout. So I was in communication with Vangelis again just to make sure the hotel didn't think I ran off with their key. Again, I received top-notch service and I can't give Vangelis a glowing enough review for being there when I had questions.
