I would like to take this opportunity to thank Kelly for the Thailand, Cambodia, and Malaysia tour she developed for us for the period of 17 March to 17 April 2023. Now that I have returned home and had time to reflect on our experiences I can safely say you exceed my expectations in so many ways.
During the planning stage you collected the appropriate information, developed a plan, then responded to my feed back in a timely manner. Your degree of planning showed an excellent understanding of the local environment and its challenges. The end result was an efficient tour that provided a good balance of cultural immersive, fun and, time to recover just when needed. In addition you provided updates whenever changes like flight times occurred and local points of contact given should a concern arise. Your updates demonstrated you were looking ahead of our tour progress making certain there were no problems.
The local tour guides you selected were consistently excellent. They were very engaging, knowable, and energetic. They would discuss what was planned, and how it was to be done, and if there were any questions or changes we wished to make. Time after time when we went to a venue they knew the best way to get there, already had the tickets or forms to get right in and then provided an excellent experience. At the end of the event they had an air conditioned vehicle waiting for us with cool towels and ice water. In this hot climate this was very much appreciated. Not having to stand around waiting added to the overall enjoyment.
I can not say enough about your excellent logistics planning. We never felt rushed, when we got to a hotel we were always expected and they were ready for us. All seven of the flights we took were well planned. The guides would take us to the airport and check us in to be certain there was no problems. When we arrived at our destination there was always someone waiting for us and we were off without any delays. In the one instance where there was a question about having the necessary country visa for a flight. Not only were you quickly available but you produced an alternate plan that actually got us to our next destination a few hours sooner than originally planned.
How and where one travels is a highly personal decision. But through your interview you obtain the necessary information to provide us the appropriate type tour. The overall experience was excellent and something we will remember forever.
Your being recognized as one of the most trustworthy tour operators is well deserved.

The guide who was like the Tourmanager was new in his job, but a very nice, helpful and polite young man. Van recommend him
Hamid, organised the most amazing trip through Morocco for us on a very short notice. He always responded quickly and tailored the trip to our desires. We truly got the authentic experience we had hoped for. His drivers Khalid and Yusuf were very knowledgeable, exceptionally kind and made us feel safe driving in the car, even in the Sarah sand storm and mountain snow storm. We can highly recommend Hamid and his team. We had one of the best holidays ever!

TravelLocal was amazing! We normally travel pretty low budget and backpack style but we wanted something more for our leg to the Galapagos and discovered TravelLocal. Well, they blew us away with an amazing trip to Ecuador, but we will definitely look to using them to book future trips! There is always that anxiety of finding and trusting something online but we did and we had nothing but a great experience doing so. We would 100% recommend TravelLocal to friends and family.

this company organise the best way to visit Cuba
It actually is an excellent way to experience Cuba. The staff were very helpful before, during and after our stay in Cuba and everything was organised well. No hiccups even when we got waves of crabs and Police blocking off the roads. The trip went so smoothly. I was pleasantly surprised and pleased. My wife loved it too. FYI, they also know the best people to change your money whilst in Cuba. I would always recommend this company when it comes to visiting Cuba.

Easy customisation of tour and quick response to enquiries to assist out details.
Local agent Ly very helpful in sorting out issues.
Tour was well organised with decent hotels, except in Hanoi. tour covered a lot of Vietnam hot spots.
Better quality control on use of local agents and numbers they put together when running local tours would ensure more consistent experience .

Booking through TravelLocal provided an experience so much more than any other holiday I have been on. Ghana has so much to offer, it really felt like we had multiple holidays all in one in just 9 days. Safari, beach, waterfalls, history and the people are so wonderful and welcoming.

Amazing 10 Day Ugandan Adventure
What an adventure we had on our 10 day Ugandan tour.
The organisation was impressively smooth and entirely tailored to our requirements. One of our party lives in Uganda so we had some idea of what we wanted to do. The local expert, Diane, took this outline and ran with it to put together a brilliant tour, making adjustments to enrich the trip, selecting fabulous places for us to stay and suggesting activities to add along the route. We were provided with pre trip information to help us to prepare & when I had a visa question Diane contacted immigration directly & got back to me on the same day.
Once we got to Uganda the whole trip was executed seamlessly from start to finish. Our guide, Martin, was an absolute treasure, so incredibly knowledgeable & very easy company. We bombarded him with questions on a broad range of subjects; wildlife, culture, history, politics, family, tradition, village life, schooling etc the list goes on. Having modestly professed to being ‘not bad’ at bird identification he proceeded to identify pretty much everything that we saw. He was completely unfazed by anything we threw at him and happy to accommodate our requests to make small changes along the way. He adapted our plans on the fly several times based on interests we expressed whilst chatting, for example to take a detour through the tea plantations. On an organised trek, or on a game drive you inevitable come across other tourists where the wildlife action is as the guides share this information, but apart from this I feel like we spent the majority of our time away from any crowds.
I’m a bit blown away to be honest. Chigo delivered a richly varied & seamlessly executed trip, adapting along the way to meet our every need. The trip exceeded my expectations and the memories will live with me for a long time. 5 star for sure.

A Great Trip
Monique, who was filling in for Luis, did a great job setting up our trip and listening to what we wanted to do.
When we did have an issue with a particular Casa, Yunior, in Cuba, was reachable and responsive. We did not end up agreeing on the suitability of the Casa in question so we did not get a refund for that night but we solved the problem ourselves by finding our own place (an extra $25 per night seemed reasonable to us). In fairness the Casa MiCuba picked was fine but the location was terrible: out of the way, dirty area with no restaurants nearby.
It was great trip and the details, travel plans, tours etc arranged by the company were great. Not fancy but we felt we got to interact with the Cuban people.
I love that Monique told us it would be fine to bring items to give away. We brought everything from toothbrushes to Tylenol to baseball caps. All much appreciated.

Great experience in Argentina!
I love the fact that you get connected with local travel agencies around the world. It makes it much easier when you reach your destination to keep in touch with them. Very easy planning experience and secure payment process. I used it to plan my trip to an Argentina and it exceeded my expectations! Everything was flawless! I will definitely use TravelLocal again instead of wasting my time to make my own research without really knowing what to look for. You set your budget, you get connected to the travel agency in your destination of choice, and they set up a plan for you based on your budget and requests. They are flexible and very responsive. I got connected to Andrea from Terra Argentina and she was awesome!
My only wish is to have them come out with an app. It will be easier in my opinion.
I highly recommend TravelLocal.

Great service and travel assistance
Very simple. Filling in simple initial request form Travel Local put us in touch with a very responsive, trustworthy, reliable and reputable travel agent in Morocco, Atlas Outdoor. It meant we had a wonderful trouble free holiday with no problems - language, money, comfort, safety so would highly recommend TravelLocal if heading to a destination where you have no previous experience. Also works with a strong ethic of sustainable travel, supporting the local community and culture.
