The blade, fittings, and overall construction feel solid for the price. The tsuba has a detailed design and the sword looks great in person. There were a few minor issues. The tsuka-ito is slightly loose and the saya had some white residue inside, which left dust on the blade when drawing it. The sword also arrived with a thick protective oil coating that needed cleaning. Despite these small issues, the sword feels sturdy and offers good value for a budget katana. I would recommend YariNoHanzo to anyone looking for an entry-level katana.
