My mistake

I thought I was purchasing the UK made Kindamil therefore I was a bit disappointed in my order. I wish the website was a bit more apparent of where the formula is made.

unprofessional and unsafe

Order from this seller at your own risk. They can't admit that they handled this poorly. It's obvious from the photo I sent them initially that there was a mess inside the case (of six jars) that involved broken glass and oozing baby food. Obvious. If I were the seller, I would have asked the customer to put the whole case in the garbage so as not to risk opening it and spreading glass around. And I would have immediately refunded them for the entire case, not *one jar.* That's what a seller with integrity would do. The email replies were short and terse and not as apologetic as they made it sound in their reply here. This is the bottomline— 1) The cases of glass baby food jars were not properly protected. I've received all kinds of breakable items from overseas (and domestically) and know what good packing is. The box was large, heavy, and lacked proper padding around the sides. 2) Accidents happen even with well-protected items. I understand that. But when one or two jars in a case of six are broken, the whole case is ruined. It must be thrown away. No one in their right mind would be washing tiny shards of glass off of the remaining jars to feed their baby unless you were in a war-time or refugee situation and were absolutely desperate. That's unsafe and simply egregious. There is no difference between *one* broken jar in a case and *six* broken jars in a case. 3) Broken items must happen frequently for this seller. If not, they would have refunded me for the case right away, instead of for *one* jar. They must be giving lots of refunds for damaged items and trying to save money. 4) The seller said I was "too upset" to accept their terse apology. Anyone would be upset if they were asked to open a case of broken glass jars, wash them off, and feed them to their baby. Treat me right and I won't be "upset." I actually told this seller to keep their money, I don't need the refund, it's the principle, not the money. 5) This seller is very odd and not to be trusted. ***** INITIAL REVIEW: I placed a big order, over $300. It came in a large, heavy box. I ordered lots of jars of baby food (glass). There was no protection around the sides of the box, just a small piece of bubble wrap around each case of 6 jars. One of the cases had a smashed jar inside and the food and small pieces of glass were oozing out of the bubble wrap. I took a photo of that case (without removing the bubble wrap to avoid the mess and broken glass) and emailed it to customer service. I got a message back saying that they refunded me for *one* jar (around $4). So I ended up opening the whole case of 6 in my sink so I could photograph the mess & glass and email the photos. I initially wanted to avoid doing that because I knew what a mess it would be, and I cut my fingers opening the bubble wrap and plastic because the shards of glass were so tiny and I couldn't avoid them. But I guess Baby's Best didn't care about that and actually expected me to wash tiny shards of broken glass down my drain so that I could feed the remaining 5 jars to my baby. They emailed back and said that the first photo was "unclear" and that they'd refund the case of 6. No apologies for the mess I had to deal with in my sink in order to send more photos. They should have known what the case of 6 would look like inside after the first photo I sent with the food oozing out of the bubble wrap. It's just common sense. These people are unprofessional and unsafe. Would you feed jars of food to your baby that you had to wash tiny shards of glass off of first? The box they shipped the food in was too large and too heavy and completely unprotected inside. I would never order from them again.

You couldn't see it in the first picture you sent us. And no information about how many products were damaged. In rare cases, products may arrive damaged.
