I love the screen free learning and fun. Promotes independence. Great variety of topics.
The timio does not turn off on its own after some time, as stated on the website! In fact it continues to talk on its own and drains the batteries, which need frequent replacement if not manually turned off. Wakes my child up in the middle of the night when he falls asleep with it because of this (without him having touched it). Some of the sounds are a little strange... for instance on the sea creatures disc, the shark sounds like a roaring dinosaur!?
I also wish I knew the product was British English not American English.

We have a 1st gen TIMIO that we have loved for years. I bought the new stories as my daughter has listened to the other ones 100s of times. We installed the new SD card and it will work until you turn the unit off, or after a period of inactivity. Then it says to insert the new SD card. We then need to unscrew the back take it out, put it back in and try again. Sometimes we have to do that multiple times for it to work. Then if we want to play one of the old disks now we need to put in the old SD card. We essentially don't use it anymore, which is super unfortunate. My daughter really liked listening to stories before she fell asleep, but now it is just a source of frustration. .

Beaucoup d’enfants aiment être souvent devant l’écran et c’est compréhensible. L'appareil est très facile à utiliser et ne nécessite aucune connexion à Internet et aucune danger les ondes comme Wifi, Bluetooth.
ma fille ne jouent pas à la ni tablette, ni téléphone ni la télé.
Je ne suis pas fan des jouets en plastique en général mais TIMIO plastique sans BPA.
Ce jeu est une vraie réussite.

Timio accompagne mes enfants tous les jours ! Ils se réveillent avec ils apprennent l’heure l’alphabet les chiffres en français les mots en d’autres langues et ils s’endorment avec les histoires c’est sans écran et sans ondes c’est génial

Mit Timio zu spielen, ist super einfach. Mein Kind hat ihren Timio zum 2. Geburtstag gekriegt und konnte schnell die Disks selbständig wechseln.
Durch die verschiedenen einstellbaren Sprachen können die Kinder leicht eine neue Sprache lernen.

My son is just 15 months old, but he likes his TIMIO.
His favorite so far is classical music :-D He likes dancing to "4 seasons"
I am looking forward to introducing him to more discs and to TIMIO adding more languages.
Also a very robust toy. It's important.
