It's my first e-Ink writer so I have no baseline of comparison. However, the writing feels very natural. There is no perceivable lag and the resistance between the pen and surface has a great balance of slide and friction. The resulting writing looks realistic to the speed and pressure applied. So far have mostly been only taking notes and not fully explored all the functionality of organizing them and other productivity features. I mostly use it to jot down some ideas to organize my thoughts and take notes when studying. So to me the writing/sketching process alone is the most fundamental part to massage my brain, less so actually reading what I wrote. It's very light, compact and feels robust so it never feels like it's a question whether it belongs in my backpack.

The SuperNote is a great companion for note taking, free writing and reading books. I use it daily for my work and it has replaced all my physical note writing. Also in the plane or on the road I now have a device from which it is comfortable to read. The pen, the unboxing, it is all very cool stuff and it works great.

- PROS: very good build quality; pleasing writing experience (though not really like pen on paper but harder); many useful software features; good choice of languages and quality of handwriting recognition. - CONS: more interface languages definitely needed (only english or asian!); ridiculous keyboard language support (5 german? 2 portuguese? 1 czech [10M people]? 0 italian [60M people]?); EWS mail accounts can't be set manually (need IT intervention!); only the main Google calendar is supported (all other calendars of an account are unusable); no EWS calendar support; touch sensitivity is very poor compared to pen, keyboard almost unusable; interface quite slow globally; no global device contrast setting (only in PDFs and not very effective), comics are unreadable (much too dark); the Supernote phone app is read only so half useless (can't modify notes from the phone and find them on the Nomad once at work); the phone app should sync all docs with any cloud service (I use a massive 1TB OneDrive for work) and not just the limited Supernote one; syncing should be automatic and quick and not require forcing it; infinite vertical scrolling pages (no space limits) should be supported along the normal actual method of laterally scrolling pages; the Samurai pen in very nice to use but unbalanced if the cap is fit at the top. - CONCLUSION: globally a very nice product that still needs many refinements and improvements.

the website was well thought out, the product (manta) is well made im enjoying my writing on it, allthough it does take a little bit used too. my slight minor thing is that the pens you have are not that interesting (due to the colors) the pen writes well, but i wouldve liked more variantions as the ones with the gold were too flashy, and in my eyes not that great looking. so that would be maybe the only thing i would have to say. further no complaints!

I purchased Supernote Manta. Ate the same time I ordered cover, however I had chosen Nomad cover mistakely. It was clear that I ordered cover for Manta because it was same purchase. Even though the team had not had to inform me (email or phone), if they could have contacted me I would have changed cover directly. This is also part of purchasing my point of view. This is feedback just for improvement. Thank you for your understanding and support.

I like the writing, as it feels like paper although it is not. Conversion of the writing to typing is a nice feature. Pencils are great! On the other hand, organization of the files might be improved with search functionality.

Supernote Manta is a great device, the writing feel is like no other e-ink tablet, the closest you can get to a real handwriting. Superfast delivery and customer service.

I love working with pen and paper. Super notes ability to transport, organize, tag and link documents is a giant leap to my workflow. My new Toyota has a 800+ Pages long PDF handbook. Super notes digest function is a perfect help to digest this document :-).

Everything went flawless with the order. The shipping ks quite expensive (especially at that price of the products) but you have it in 2 days.

Delivery was great, had small problems in online order (out of stock for a short time). I hesitated long time to order this Supernote Manta. One main use case for me, is to read old PDFs which cannot converted properly to a different format. The simple trim feature of the Supernote is amazing. With it, the font size is good, because my PDFs always have a huge white margin.

I've tried Remarkable Pro, Boox 4c, Boox Lumina, Kidle Scribe Colorsoft and my conclusion is that Supernote Manta is the best writing experience and software functionality out of them all. Highly recommended

Superior writing experience because soft e-ink display. Manta do 2 things better than boox note 3c, writing and reading. Only thing missing I would say is the backlight. We finally have eink that’s superior to writing on paper.

I like the writing feeling but I'd love more pen options and tilt behavior in the drawing app. Also, battery life is surprisingly short even with wifi turned off. I would have expected at least 7 days, similar to a remarkable.

The design is very cool and functional, it is super easy to use and good sensation while writing, there are many options to organise the notes, and the idea of no e-waste and free access to the apps and server are outstanding. It can improve a bit the screen mirroring option because corporate configurations of wi-fi do not allow the option

Ma Supernote Nomad est devenue un outil indispensable. L’écriture est fluide et naturelle, la sensation se rapproche vraiment du papier et la lisibilité est parfaite. L’autonomie est remarquable et l’interface reste simple, rapide et efficace. La synchronisation fonctionne très bien, ce qui rend l’organisation quotidienne beaucoup plus agréable. C’est une tablette pensée pour le travail sérieux et la prise de notes de qualité. Un vrai plaisir à utiliser au quotidien.

I am a videogame artist and often need to take notes and make quick environmental sketches. I gotta say the Manta surpassed all my expectations! I love how I can create complex documents with hyperlinks and the general feeling of drawing feels very good! I am impressed by the fluidity of the drawing. I also appreciate the open ecosystem that doesn't lock me in a specific pen type. My only gripe is the UI being slightly slow and the lack of some sort of vibration feedback. To be fair tho, I was not expecting the UI to be any faster as I understand this is not a regular display. Amazing product!

Super shipping, super product, super details, super everything about my new Supernote Nomad ! Still in the learning phase, but loved it so far. I would have the ability to increase the manual font (maybe my bad) I find particularly difficult to understand all the sync possibilities, but i'll figure out

But for writing fits well. - customization. Mostly for memory expansion option. - Pen is fantastic (heart of metal 2) Con: (not really a negative, just personal nice-to-have feeling) - would be nice to have at least one color option(black). Don’t like white devices (it is personal) - second loop for heavy pen, which fix it at the bottom side too, could make it better. - system language options very limited. From European languages only English available. - battery level not seen from the main screen. Need to go to settings to see how much left - price
