Very efficient and well packed. The prices were also fair. The only minus point is regarding the delivery time. One day after this order, we bought some different products at a competitor (also German) and their products arrived 2 days earlier. We also used the same transport company. This wasn't that bad but comparing companies we would say that the competitor worked internally faster. Despite it, we strongly recommend bike-discount.de!!

The service, prices and offer are awesome. Customer service is also great. This time I'm not giving 5 stars because of a return I had to pay for a wrong shoe number. It is true that it was my mistake. It also true that they do accept the return and refund without issues. The only thing I got mad at was the information about a free return if the item is more than 50€ which was the case. Well, it's not exactly like that! Why? Because they rely on a asterisk that says that it is free only for bunch of countries around Germany. Even if your order is above 4k they made me pay for the return, even after my new order for the right shoe number was also already paid. Bottom line is that, it's never a good practice relying on asterisks. The UX will for sure jot be good and you can loose a customer on that. So please put all the information clearly visible. Apart from this issue I love this store and I will continue to be their customer.

I like the attention to detail that bike-components.de have on their site. I'm rarely in doubt about what components I am buying and the specifications given are all verified and accurate. This is super important when building or upgrading due to the many sizes and standards out there. On this particular occasion I got a great deal on some Shimano XT brakes which I had been planning to buy for a while. This coupled with the free shipping offer for Orange Week was fantastic. My only negative with this company is the time between ordering and shipping. It does seem to be a consistent problem. When I use r2-bike or bike-discount, not only is the shipping cheaper but typically items dispatch next day. This isn't only during busy times such as Orange Week - I have noticed it consistently.

When everything is in stock the itemes are shipped very fast. BUt if something is missing you have no info about that in order status page. It would be nice to have status per item and also posibility to remove items from order if it takes too long to get them. Second thing is refunding if you cancel some items via email/phone. You get email with instructions to transfer money directly on bike-discount bank account. I did that. But then the next day you try to charge my credit card again. The information about refund/payment should be more clear and possibly without double chargin. Or just refund the amount for removed items. Kind regards Roman

I’m British, on holiday in Slovenia and had to do a quick order for a part to be delivered to a hotel which had no link to me. Bike Discount.de have a great website which is well stocked but the process from accepting the order to shipping it is not quick. I never got the promised email which the T&C’s say is sent so that i can confirm the order before shipping and when i tried to cancel it was too late. Ultimately the package arrived in time and with the correct product. Price is competitive but not the best. It’s a shame they don’t do large shipments to the UK anymore but we can thank those who voted for Brexit for that.

Bike-Discount is one of my go to website for bicycle parts. Prices are competitive and they have a wide selection. My only complaint is that they do not have multiple shipping options. They only shipping option to my location, Portugal Islands, takes 3 weeks to 1 month for delivery. For less than 4 euros for shipping it is fair delivery times. When I need something in a hurry I have to order from a competitor and pay 5x as much for shipping but they don’t always have what I need.

Good and practical website, lower than market average prices and lots more options than the local shops. There is also lower price guarantee so they match the lowest market price for a product. The only negative sites are the user interface of the website (bit outdated), longer delivery times and stricter constraints for item return & refund. There is a minimum price for an item to be returned and refunded free of charge.

I did not receive tracking link for my bikes delivery but issue was solved promptly by the customer service. This was my second bike purchase from Bike Discount, first bike had assembly issues but this one was proper out of the box. I wonder the separate delivery of pedals and side stand, in my opinion they could be delivered together with the bike. In all I'm quite happy with the two eMTB's delivered

The price is unrivalled even when you add duty. What would improve the service would be the addition of duty at the shopping basket and therefore reduce price even further by not paying a handling charge at HMRC customs - other companies do this with great success

Overall im very satisfied with BikeDiscount offer and services. I'm a customer since many years and always appreciated the reliability, speed and quality of products available. As a long term and regular customer i would however expect from time to time to get some vaucher or discounts for my new orders. i would appreciate if you could consider it. Best regards, D. Pachoud

i order mny times in thid shop and i'm confident in all my purchases. it's a pity that they don't send some items to Madeira in Portugal. they should work on that. because of that im still waiting my last purchase. i have to order to Porto, and after that ask a friend to put the bike on a ship in order i receive my bike. because of that o have to wait to many days.

I like: quick response, info flow, lead time was shorter that declared. Dislike: The bike had some technical faults > bent derailleur hook, frayed end of steel cable for shifting gears, front shock absorber side rubbed off in transport (minor detail), damaged steel cable grommet (plastic element where the cable enters the bicycle frame) for saddle height adjustment.

The price was very competitive. The package arrived beautifully arranged to make the unboxing lovely. Small dislike: the parcel was stuck at customs in Germany for 1-2 days because my postal code was outstanding - I had put it on the original order, so it's not clear if it's a double check from DHL or whether your company forgot to upload it on the DHL system.

The item I've received was faulty, but they've reimbursed me for both the item, original shipping and return shipping. Sad that the item wasn't okay, but they've been responsive and approachable, and have covered all my expenses. I've had some trouble communicating with the company's representative in English, but we've managed to reach an understanding.

They do not have a vat scheme in place, unlike many other competitors, so orders coming into the UK will get caught up in customs and will attract duty charges and fees. When the fees are factored in, any apparent cost saving is soon evaporated. Great range of products that are not available as a one stop shop elsewhere so probably worth the hassle.
