I have used Bike-discount a few times.. at first I wasn't sure if it was a scam because they were a lot cheaper but the delivery to UK is always really fast with great comms.. I have never had any issues and now happily recommend to friends.. the only issue for some might be the 150Euro minimum spend.. for me it just means I buy more..
Ordered a saddle with carbon rails and received another model with manganese rails; after 3 weeks that item appears as out of stock even though they stated that after I will send back the wrong saddle they will replace it. If they won't solve this in a reasonable way I will file a ECCNET complaint and never order again from them.
Mostly all has been fine, though defective crank and pedals on a MTB was not acknowledge, They even send me another pair of cheaper AND defective pedals to shut me up...
I came to bike-discount to order some parts and overshoes. Unfortunately, I don't know if and how the overshoes would fit over my shoes, so I ordered several so I could see their quality, but also to see if they would fit (EUR49).
After ordering, I received an email a few days later stating I can't order so many overshoes to simply send back to the store. I was told to remove several overshoes from my order. I'd never experienced this kind of treatment in my life.
I removed two pairs of overshoes, and eventually after two weeks, my order was shipped.
In the mean time, the overshoes I removed my order, i ordered from elsewhere. After receiving and examining all of the overshoes, I went with a pair that I had removed from my bike-discount order - whoops!
I was forced to go shop elsewhere, and as a result bike-discount lost out. As a result, I would rate their customer service as not up to a good standard. Learn to appreciate your customers instead of forcing them into the arms of your competitors.

I love variety of products, and good prices. What they could improve is delivery time, it takes even a week to deliver it should be 24h. Furthermore I would love to see possibility to modify the order before it has been shipped.
I think that the quick and appropriate response typical of a German company is truly impressive. In other words, if the shipping fee for international cargo becomes cheaper, the evaluation will be further improved.
