This was my first dealing with your firm and it was very successful. The selection of Australian wines available was good and much appreciated as I was buying for a family member who misses his Australian reds while living in Germany. I was kept informed about the progress of the order and it arrived very promptly and was much enjoyed.

One bottle was missing entirely and one bottle had a damaged label on it. I emailed them the very same day to claim the missing bottle. No response for days. I repeatedly tried calling their customer service but no one picked up. When they finally replied, they said that they do not normally ship a single bottle and instead they offered me credit towards my next purchase. Which however meant that to get the bottle I wanted (and which I ordered and paid for), I would have to pay shipping. Naturally, this was unacceptable for me. After a lot of time and energy spent trying to convince them to send me the missing bottle, I finally received it (more than one week later).

Huge delivery problem

8wines was fine but the ups delivery was catastrphic. They simply left the wine at a relay point that had no parking and was difficult to access. By contrast, a similar wine order from Burgundy was delivered to my door.

Dear Customer, we are genuinely sorry for the misunderstanding that took place. We investigated your case further and admit that a human error occurred, resulting in a delay in the immediate feedback, which is our standard. We suggested a refund/coupon code as the first option for you, but you opted for delivery of the missing bottle that was shipped immediately. We hope you enjoy the wines!

Too many bottles were corky, not good. I couldn’t write anything until tested. Unfortunately the expensive ones. If you want details I can write, but I don’t buy from you anymore.

Dear Customer, the order was delivered on the 6th of January. We apologise for the fact that due to unplanned delays at the UK customs office related to the busy Christmas period, it took a bit longer than anticipated. We hope you enjoy the wines!

Dear Customer, we checked the tracking log and found the delivery was not late. The delivery time was longer because of the remote location. Unfortunately, no daily deliveries are scheduled for this specific location, so it took a little longer for the wine to get to you. Because UPS standard shipping has no guaranteed delivery date, we can't find fault on our or even UPS's side. We hope you are enjoying the wine and will reconsider ordering from us again - this time, please account for the delivery time to your specific location.
