Sport Conrad is good in so many ways, but shipping is not entirely one of them. They sent out the skis I ordered very promptly (thanks for that!), much more promptly than a French company where I live, would have. Unfortunately, however, they continue to use UPS which I have consistently told them is a problem in France. I live in an apartment building (a "residence") with a coded front entry. I have given the code and my phone to Sport Conrad. However, every single time a delivery is to be made, the driver neither rings, nor leaves a failed delivery notice. I am always waiting for a call to assist the driver. A 'delivery attempt' is claimed but this is a lie. The package never comes. This time, after I saw a text about a failed delivery, my wife chased down the driver in Chamonix where we live. He claimed not to have my phone or the door entry code. This may be UPS's fault, but I've alerted Conrad to this several times so they bear co-responsibility, IMO. What I would prefer is a different carrier. Failing that, I would like a delivery option to be a UPS access point. At the very least I think Sport Conrad should follow up with UPS France about this recurring problem. I can't reschedule deliveries to other places where I go to collect, without a UPS "info notice" of failed delivery nd a new UPS number on it. I never get this as the driver never leaves anything. This time I paid for a relatively prompt delivery (so an extra charge), but the UPS rescheduled my delivery by a day for no reason at all. They often do this as well, which has nothing to do with getting inside my apartment building. This means that the object never leaves the local UPS distribution center (Annecy). Very, very annoying.

I usually buy from Conrad and typically the service was perfect, but for this specific order unfortunately I have a complaint. The bindings were mounted not correctly. I asked for 318 mm boot length, they were shorter, about 1cm. Luckily, I was able to adjust by myself turning the screw, because luckily there was enough space for moving the rear binding back, but this was just by chance. The mounting point as a result I fear will be a little beat back vs recommended, but hope not feeling this difference just for 1 cm. I also add that it's not clear , from the website, how to raise a complaint on a specific order, you are asked to fulfill a generic form, instead of having the direct complaint link from the order.

customer support should improve

I asked before purchase if accessory fits to main product as it was not clear based on information on shop and manufacturer as well, I have got written confirmation form them that it fits, however it does not fit (this can happened). I asked them via email what to do and got no answer for several days (this should not happened).

Ski selection fail

I have ordered there several times. Usually service is perfect, but things changed then I asked them to select the ski by weight with thorough instructions. That was completely failed and I have got inappropriate ski. That wasn't some elite or advanced selection, just regular. They gave me ski for 81 kg skier instead of 93 kg. Pretty inaccurate. Please fix your selection procedure.

My first order got canceled in whole because one of the items was out of stock after all. The communication on this subject was very poor and I did not know of the cancellation until I specifically asked. Even then the answer was very ”in your face” and not supportive at all, not asking if I wanted to place a new order etc. I ended up doing the order again with a different set of bindings myself. The delivery service (ups) is still poor and has always been, but that’s not on sport conrad. I would still like to have an option to choose another form of delivery when ordering from you.
