I love that Superbalist offers next day delivery (in main city hubs), this was an absolute saving grace for me as I had a last minute event dress disaster that with the next day delivery was completely solved. The returns process is also fantastic and I have never had an issue. The variety and range is great for so many occasions and preferences. Amazing clothing as well as home goods. I love that some of the brands include the size of the model which really helps in deciding which size to take as well as the size finder. My only suggestion is that as a user I have no idea how to leave a review of items though, and I’m sure I’m not alone as many items don’t have reviews.

I logged a complaint on Google play. Never had an issue with Superbalist up until recently. Thede was bugs on the app which then incovenienced me heavily with a return. Superbalist then gave me a discount to make up for this. I used this discount but had to return everything as it didnt fit. So I lost out on the discount. Part of the returns was two jeans which didnt fit and Superbalist said its a 7 day return which I did not see as I know Superbalist has a 30 day return period which is very convenient for me as I travel alot. This particular return, I was travelling and did not have the items with me to return. Superbalist said they cant accept it as its outside the 7 day return period. This was another incovenience for me. I am a tall girl so I always buy two sizes to check which fits. Now I have two jeans that dont fit because Superbalist didnt accept the return. I turned to Zara app now as they have a 30 day return period on discounted items. I put this complaint on Google Play and Superbalist said I must contact customer care. I did not because of my previous experience and when I did contact customer care they did not accept the returns so why bother again .I will now stop using Superbalist due all the incovenience that happened.

Used sneakers

We recently spoke about the mishaps with my order. It was rather unfortunate to have experienced such poor service from Superbalist. - I attempted to buy a pair of white sneakers, which was delivered twice with the wrong size (37) - I tried a third time and received a pair of black boots. At that point I returned it for a refund and not exchange. The boots have since been collected, yet there's no refund in my wallet. - Yesterday I checked again, and a size UK6 was available and i bought it, although the refund was not in my wallet. The sneaker arrived yesterday, the right size. However they have been worn, clearly. I took pics for proof. How long must a shoe be worn for the interior to already be brown? At this stage this kind of service is just not acceptable. How can you send a customer used sneakers. Also I received a R350 on the previous two but this was full price. Why? I would really appreciate a call on this with a proper remedy and honestly nothing but a huge discount would make up for this massive service deficiency. Regards.

I ordered items and on 3 separate occasions, (1) my order was cancelled after having been confirmed (2) there were inconsistencies commuicated in terms of the order status (3) the cancelled items continued and still continue to be advertised as available despite 3 separate attempts to purchase these items (4) it has taken Superbalist more than 2 weeks to explain what happened. I still don't have an explanation of what actually happened (5) the refund process is tedious and takes long. It should be easier and clearer to indicate to the buyer if stick for an item is actually available. I see items I'd like to purchase on Superbalist but I'm scared I'll get disappointed again and have orders cancelled while Superbalist holds funds for more than a week and stops me from making alternative purchases.

Do not take fees for "same day delivery" and then fail to deliver on three of every single one of your "rescheduled delivery" due to failure on YOUR Part to deliver on the same day, or the subsequent day or the day thereafter. Many people have this same complaint from what I've seen online. Your customer service is utterly useless and I was never even refunded for the "same day delivery" fee which I paid to you. My order never arrived after 3 times of you guys rescheduling whereafter I requested cancelation and a refund. Either your same day delivery is a scam and/or maybe you guys are deliberately be sabotaging the delivery because perhaps you don't actually have the stock as advertised on your site. Either way, you guys retain the delivery fee and fail to deliver. Sickening!

Your service is very poor and you don't value your customers. Ever since the beginning of this year I have been dealing with a very disrespectful driver of yours. I have complained about him on several occasions and I believe no disciplinary measures were taken against him. Secondly, your sales team is messing up my orders. At some point I ordered a polo shirt and received kids clothes, on another occasion I bought a " new era" Lakers cap with a gold logo but surprisingly I received a "new era" cap that I did not order. Fix up your mess or we will end up going the social media route " hello peter" to expose your unprofessionalism.

I sent the Jean back because it was a bit big and wanted a smaller size. Firstly I could not opt for the return drop off at a takealot point, the only option was collection from my house, meaning that I had to arrange for someone to be home for the pick up. The replacement Jean was ordered and was suddenly cancelled without anyone notifying why it was cancelled. I had to call the call centre to find out what was happening only to get an apology email and a 10% discount code which I have not used. This was so unprofessional.

I have had terrible service delivery from Superbalist. The customer service staff have been great but I have been delivered two wrong carpets then an order I made was sent to the wrong place and I wasn’t able to get the products I ordered. Now my latest delivery was meant to arrive today but have been emailed that this order will be delayed too. I has not been one problem, but many errors that has left me not wanting to order from Superbalist again. I have been a loyal customer for many years but this is ridiculous

Deliver complete orders and communicate when you can’t fulfill complete orders. Don’t just deliver and say nothing. Also your after sales is terrible. I have been waiting for two weeks for my issue to be resolved, all because your call centre staff have to wait for you ‘box’ or whatever it’s called to give feedback. I cannot escalate my query, I’m stuck with the same feedback and reference number that I have been receiving for two weeks. Do better. Such a same that your service has deteriorated to this level.

They delivered my parcel on a Sunday. Some people are not home on a sunday and the fact that takealot works on a sunday does not mean everyone must be available. I spoke to Ivan and specifically mentioned to deliver on the Tuesday. He said he would try and update the date and low and behold, someone came to deliver the Monday. I was away hence me choosing Tuesday. My order was eventually cancelled by someone even though i still wanted it and I am still waiting for my money.

Not convenient enough platform, absolutely horrible customer service.

The platform is not keeping up with the digital age. A person should be able to change any order related information (i.e, delivery address, contact details etc) at any point after placing an order and the order gets re-routed to the correct location, the fact that it does not do that keeps me begging for some worthwhile competition so the Superbalist team can actually wake up and make improvements for a better customer expereince.

I bought and paid for an expensive perfume recently. Waited 2 days and then went to check if I could track my delivery and discovered that my order was cancelled. I had not received any notification thereof. I called the call centre and was told that their inventory was incorrect and there was no stock available... Days after I was told this, the item was still available for purchase on your website - quite unacceptable!!

Problem with inventory

The last 2 of my 3 orders have had items credited due to "inventory issues" and when I check on the site (I did so this morning) the item is available for purchase, but at a higher price. Won't easily order from Superbalist again as I feel I can't trust them to deliver what I order at the price advertised. The 10% offered on the next purchase is just not going to cut it - please get your house in order Superbalist!

The goods I have ordered, arrived damaged of which wants caused due to transit. I have returned the order, of which Superbalist refunded me my money but on my wallet linked to my profile. They do not have more of those slippers left, and I do not fancy any other available on the site. Instead of giving my money back, it is now stuck on their wallet initiative and I am experiencing the loss.

Incompetent

Delivered the wrong shoes. It was a completely different order to what I had asked for. The whole process was a nightmare to return, after having to deal with an arrogant and rude delivery driver to get the shoes to begin with and then the disappointment of not even getting what I ordered. I returned the incorrect order and still got charged for the return.

The item I purchased was on special I was charged full price, I sent a screen shot showing the item was still on special, however they said specials are time sensitive. Every single day I check the special is still on and no credit is forthcoming. I am so very disappointed. The item is not worth R6000 each. I have received no assistance.

Not good enough service had to wait for my parcel for so long and one item was cancelled without my knowledge and I just decided to cancel the whole order after delivery kept been moved and moved and after I managed to cancel it I got an email saying they couldn’t reach me hence my delivery was cancelled the nerve and the lies sies

By Far One Of The Slowest Delivery That I Have Ever Received And For My Area To Not Be Covered By Next Day Delivery Is Really Bad I Placed My Order Amd My Items Came Literally The Week Of Eid Only For 1 Of My Items To Be Way To Big And I Couldn't Return It Becahse Than My Next Size Wouldn't Come In Time , Really Disappointed

I placed an order of home accessories, based on the delivery date I waited and waited also ultimately delaying my 8 hour trip to take the items I had purchased. We eventually left without the items I had carefully chosen. When they did arrive I no longer needed it as I had to make alternative arrangements.

Pathetic customer service

Your warehouse staff need to ensure they pack the correct orders. I received an incorrect order and your customer service was pathetic. I needed the outfit for a function and no one could assist me in getting my correct order back to me on time. None of the supervisors or managers wanted to chat to me.

False advertising or

As per image of my order, the running tights have a zip at the back. This is exactly what I want as I am a runner and can put my car keys and mobile inside the pocket. When I received my item - no pocket with zip at the back. I was so sad as this has never happened to me with Superbalist.

I find that superbalist’s customer service is great. However, they usually only have very limited sizes (and extremely low stock on those they have) and I have received the wrong item a few times - wrong size in a children’s h&m top and now completely wrong size and item in right box.
