I like the fact that Superbalist really cater for the plussize woman. All too often plussize clothing are outdated, frumpy and just not nice. We also struggle with trendy styles, things are nit true to size etc but Superbalist has really delivered 70% of the time so far. There is a lot they can improve on since the South African market has a lot of potential for plussize woman. Another BIG issue is finding boots for people with big calves. I have big calves and have to buy my boots from the UK cause NOWHERE in SA I can find them. Otherwise I have to take them to someone who then adds a piece of leather so they can fit me. I bought a pair from the Butterfly label (my fav because the shoes are always so comfortable) and they fit beautiful till I have to zip it closed. I have always been disappointed with knee hight boots in South Africa.

Delivery was late. Seems like it was only attended to once I contacted you guys to complain. Then I was told that one of my items was not available even though the app showed that it was. You guys sent me a 20% discount which was not much less than the discount I would have received on the dress and now the dress in my size is sold out. Very bad service. This has happened before and I've overlooked it but this problem doesn't seem to be addressed. I've also noticed other customers complaining about the same thing. So not impressed

Damaged goods, 2 right shoes and appalling service

I placed two orders on the same day for sandals for my twin daughters 21st birthday. One order was for me, the other for them. In their order the silver heels were lovely but unfortunately too wide . The gold pair was disastrous!!! Inside the box were two RIGHT shoes in 2 different styles. My daughter had to wear old shoes for her party. My order was equally disastrous. The one pair of heels was such poor quality. The straps were bulging UNDERNEATH the sole of the shoe. I felt like I was walking on split peas. The second pair arrived with a huge gash in the lining which had been stuck down with a piece of tape!! I am beyond mortified- its disgraceful. I have logged the return and selected the date for collection. Neither of them have been collected and I am still waiting for my refund. I will NEVER order from Superbalist again. You have gone seriously downhill

Terrible experience with delivery.

I placed two orders (#24975568 and #25090201) delivered on 11 and 12 October respectively. In both cases, the delivery people called me when they arrived. I told them to go to security, who would let them up to the apartment. Both insisted that I come downstairs and meet them on the street. When I told them that I couldn’t, because I am working (on weekends too), and that I paid for door-to-door delivery which means I expect my package to be delivered to my door, they were incredibly rude. Both became angry and shouted at me on the phone, accusing me of wasting their time. Note that in the past when I have agreed to meet delivery drivers outside I have been kept waiting for up to half an hour because they called me before they were actually at my building. The delivery person on 12 October told me that she doesn’t want to come upstairs and will “deliver the package on Monday or whenever” if I don’t come downstairs. When I insisted that they deliver to my door, both eventually did, and then proceeded to behave abusively towards my partner, who received the deliveries. This conduct from your delivery drivers is unacceptable.

When I first started ordering from Superbalist, deliveries were consistently made within 3 to 5 days, as promised. However, my recent orders have taken up to two weeks or more to arrive, which is far from the standard I initially experienced. The most frustrating part is the poor communication surrounding these delays. I have received little to no updates regarding the status of my orders, leaving me uncertain about when I can expect them. As a loyal customer, this has been highly disappointing and has significantly affected my overall shopping experience with Superbalist. Order number24722357 Look up the order number, masses of emails and sms's assuring me that your delivery of my order to the incorrect address would be sorted out. I have asked to speak to a person of authority repeatedly and keep getting told someone will return my call. Not one person ever has. All I want is my 1 pair of running shoes which are sitting in a box back at the warehouse. I will come and fetch them but every single superbalist person I ask, has answered" I don't know where the warehouse is." Now you put my money in a superbalist wallet so to use it I have to go through this whole process again. I am so so angry, frustrated and disappointed. I should have just gone to a sports shop and bought the shoes. Now you have both my money and my shoes.

Bumpy exchange process

I tried to log an exchange twice on the app for the same item, eventually I had to phone into the call centre to successfully log a return that stuck. The process of exchanging an item is not as smooth when you prefer to collect the item because system doesn't allow exchange items to be dropped of at the collection point.The agent that had help me log the return had put in the pick up point address instead of mine and I couldn't change the address to mine during the process. After several of phone calls to superbalist one lovely lady at the end eventually arranged for me that the item be delivered to the pick up point so I could collect after work.

I did not get what I ordered the first time, somehow I received a completely different pair of shoes (a woman's shoe) and I did not receive the shirt I ordered the first time. I have now since received the shirt and I haven't checked yet if I have refunded for the shoes. The worst of it was, that by chance the shoes which I did receive was shoes that my wife liked, even her size, so first I had to disappoint her and tell that I didn't order that, then even when I asked to purchase them I was not allowed to. So now, not only did I not get the shoes which I ordered, which I believe is now out of stock, I also had to disappoint my wife.

Haven't bought from you in a while - what happened? You used to be great & very clear when checking out re delivery dates, had a quick turnaround, clear communication & updates on tracking etc. Now not at all. I ordered on the 6th, its now the 11th, you've only just started 'processing'. I have no idea when my order will arrive. EVERYBODY ELSE has gotten better at this and you seemingly went backwards for some reason. To be clear, one on the main reasons I used to shop you frequently was the quick turnaround. I could get fashion faster than if I jumped in a car and bought something from a brick and mortar store.

Order not being delivered

Order placed on the 28th september 2024. ETD 04 October, which was delayed due to wrong warehouse allocation and you said it will have a delay of 1-3 business days. I called in on the 02nd October i was told to wait for 5 business days which has passed also. It has been 2 weeks since i placed the order when i called again today no one seems to know what happened or where my orders is, Superbalist has been on the top of my list of trusted brands for almost 10 years. This has happened to me with every order for year now with no explanation. To say im dissapointed is an understatement.....

Less baggy plus size clothing. Think normal size designs that are tailored for tummies,bums , hips or big thighs. Just because women are plus size doesn't mean they need to dress up in bags of square clothing. Normally plus size women have an issue area and would hide that but not everything. Also delivery taking over a week for an in house Superbalist product order is terrible. I ordered shoes from Zando and it was available the next day at no extra cost. I do however like the Superbalist branded shoes and price of the shoes, seems like reasonable quality and good fit.

Made a purchase on the 3rd of October as a present, only on the 9th i was sent an sms that i will be refunded( assumed out of stock) which i dont understand why it took them a week to discover stock. The sms stated the refund will take 2-3 days to reflect on my account. Waited 7 days with no refund only to find they credited my superbalist wallet without my consent. When i request they needed my details and had to wait another week for the money whereas they cancelled the order and failed to do refund. So i had a 3 weeks waiting with no item nor my money in my account.

Pathetic customer service

I processed an exchange for an item on this order. The exchange was accepted, the item was collected from me, the exchange item was then processed for delivery, and then a few hours later I receive an automated email that the order was cancelled. I then put in an urgent query on the app, and when I was then contacted, I was told that there was no trail of my exchange on the system. Why then was the exchange processed? So essentially I have now lost out twofold: first on the exchange item and secondly on the promotional discount on the item itself.

I have a problem with PayJustNow I requested a refund for Dress gina-h - white -S and you did collect the parcel from my place and sent me a communication stating that you had received an item and would refund me even PayJustNow confirmed that I would be refunded between 3-5 working days. And now I have received an email from PayJustNow saying that an item is still in my possession therefore they won't refund me instead I owe them so I don't know whether it's their strategy of scamming people or what. Please assist!!!!

Not happy…

I recieved an empty box without the item I purchased, it was resolved I was refunded but I needed the item and was working around delivery date. Had to spend money to get another one at a shop. No more than a month later I recieved items I did not purchase(wrong item) again to be refunded very quickly but I order what I need and expect to recieve it. I am not happy, have resorted to the pick up option which is an inconvenience because it is far and what's the point of online shopping if you must stil go and pick up.

The one product I wanted to order was not available. I was asked to provide my email address and I would be notified when the product would be available. A few days later I received an email to say the product is available. I immediately placed my order. I added another item as well. A few days later I received an email to say that a refund is due to me for the full amount. Quite puzzled I phoned to ask why. I was told both items are not available. Will not be doing business with Superbalist again.

6 months ago I would have given Superbalist a 5, but lately, and I order from Superbalist a few times a month, the delivery time has been much longer than normal, often waiting a week to 10 days for delivery. And sometimes longer, and then finding out they were out of stock of an item but it was incorrectly showing stock. I think Superbalist should deliver what they have in stock instead of waiting a week and holding back everything else. Last year, I ordered an and received my items in 3/4 days always.

The item bought was not clearly marked that its non returnable.the size is not accurate at all as my child is 6 years old and not a small child so I ordered the H&M size 6-8 years old the shorts are so big it will even be too big for a 8 year old.So when I ordered it didn’t think it would be so much bigger and now I sit with a item that only shows afterwards when I wanted to return it that us non returnable.Don’t think I want to order online anymore as sizes are so inaccurate and I can’t return it.

Basic clothing is often very expensive. Things like simple dresses etc. Not a variety of maternity clothing although that just seems to be an issue in South Africa. Maternity wear looks like it only accommodates older pregnant women. Not appealing to younger moms to be. Lastly Home stuff descriptions don’t always have specific dimension details. I live in a mine town and there’s usually one man who does delivery and he’s very rude, bangs on my door violently often leaving my baby startled.

Unhappy

I am really disappointed with Superbalist, I placed an order for kids PJs which was size 13-14years and they delivered the wrong size which was 7-8 years. I sent them back so they can send the incorrect size but instead this time they sent a whole totally different product. I get the first mistake but the second one is totally unacceptable. What a very bad service. Sad part this was very personal for me as it was a gift and now that totally went horrible and left me very heartbroken.

The delivery was unacceptable

A comment not for Superbalist but the driver and the delivery of my package. He called asking for a pin to enter at the gate, sent it immediately and asked that I wait outside the block where my apartment is. I waited for 42 minutes and whenever I would call, he would decline my call. I was so annoyed but the package was a last minute gift so had to collect. If that wasn’t the case, was going to cancel. Also, the driver was rude and he gave me the package us if he was throwing it

Bad Service from Superbalist 😏 So on the 28th of September 2024 I bought a The North Face Bozer Hip Pack lll Black and it was my first purchase with them and they delivered a wrong item trice and what is ****ing me off is that every time they deliver a wrong item I then call their customer service and log an exchange and tell them a wrong item was delivered and they apologise and log the exchange but ******e* deliver the same ish again. Like why are you even in business?🤷🏽‍♂️
