Bully Beds Europe: genuinely good foam, disappointing odour-protection claim
I purchased an Original Bully Bed in August 2026. The foam is genuinely good and supportive.
Unfortunately, the waterproof inner liner was advertised as keeping out dog smell 100%, but I discovered a noticeable dog odour in the foam underneath it. My dog does not urinate on the bed, and I wash both covers weekly.
After almost a month of correspondence, the company explained that odours can penetrate the liner. This is quite different from the original advertising claim.
I requested a partial price reduction because I wanted to keep the otherwise good bed. The company refused and offered only replacement covers, which would not remove the odour already in the foam, or a return at my own expense.
I appreciate the quality of the foam, but I am disappointed by the difference between the advertised claim and my experience, as well as the way Bully Beds handled my complaint.

Thank you for your review. We are pleased to hear that you are satisfied with the quality and support of our orthopedic foam.
As the situation you described is highly unusual, we contacted the manufacturer to carefully investigate your concerns rather than making assumptions about the cause. Without physically inspecting the dog bed and its protective inner liner, we cannot determine whether there is a defect or what caused the odour to reach the foam.
Nevertheless, we offered two solutions: returning the dog bed for a refund of the product's purchase price, or receiving a new waterproof inner liner and outer cover free of charge.
You declined both options and requested a partial refund of €100, despite the fact that we have not had the opportunity to inspect the product. We believe it is important to establish the cause of a complaint before considering such a refund.
We regret that the solutions we offered did not meet your expectations.

I’m genuinely impressed with BullyBed. The communication throughout the order process was professional, fast, and very customer-oriented, and the shipping was much quicker than expected.
Most importantly — the bed itself exceeded my expectations. The quality, thickness, support, and overall construction are outstanding, and you can immediately feel that it is made to last. My dog absolutely loves it.
Highly recommended for anyone looking for a truly premium orthopedic dog bed and excellent customer service.

The Bed is wonderful my Dog loves it, i only wish we could order the one with 4 lifted sides in Europe.
What i most dislike is the delivery via DPD, the package was Re-packed because they damaged it, they didn't deliver on promised day (stayed at home for that), the next day they just put it infront of the house instead of in the garage like ordered. please do you customers a favor and add DHL i know they're more expensive but id pay for that.

We have a medium size dog, a Lagotto Romagnolo, so we thought a medium size bed would be best. In fact, the large bed would’ve been better suited. In any event, the medium size works well during the day, as it is very light and easy to maneuver. So we used the bed, mostly downstairs in the living and dining room rooms when the dog is with us there. This worked very well.
Meanwhile, we ordered a large bed from another company that has bolsters on all four sides and this we will use in our bedroom at night, where he sleeps.
I should add that our dog loves to scratch vigorously the bed before settling in. So far, the bed has survived this very well.
