Fit and finish excellent as ever. And a special mention to the Mr Marvis team who continually kept in touch with me and made sure I received my shorts before I set off, even though it was an extended Bank Holiday. Can't recommend them enough.

First I must say I have previously purchased several pairs of Mr Marvis Chinos and have always been very pleased and given them 5* reviews... However on this last occasion I ordered a pair of black "CoolerDays" only to find they have changed the measurements and instead of the usual "close" tailored fit around the seat, they are baggy and quite loose, with a tendency to slip down, even with a tightened belt. I have already reported this and they have confirmed the measurements have been changed, but without telling anybody first or warning them of this fact. Consequently I now have three pairs of CoolerDays which are a poor fit and quite different from my existing summer "Longs".
I have reported this and await an update but hopefully would like to change them for the previous 'normal' measurements.
I feel this unadvertised change to their product reflects badly upon them because all their existing marketing and sales information emphasises the tailored close fit as being a unique feature for their Chinos.

The design and manufacture of the shorts is best in class. The demanding aesthetics of the product makes a difference.
There is nevertheless a bias in the communication, suggesting that only the beautiful people are targeted. This can be intimidating and some people can feel overlooked. Just a thought I had.
Also, keep on promoting a more sustainable world, being an example in the textile industry.

The shorts and their colours are excellent. That said, I am not the tallest of men and therefore am concerned about the leg length. Not too much but I've had them taken up a little. Otherwise lovely and will buy again.
