Well, packing & general things were good, but I requested that you mention that the contents are " Railway modelling articles", which in fact they were, it could have saved me a few bucks in customs. Besides my cell no. was also missing from the address on the package. This also I told UPS in Delhi to do after clearance, they were un responsive besides charging me considerable amount towards clearance.

Ordered 4 ea items have received 1 ea item. Is it not possible to send all items in “one go” as the cost of having the customs documentation/form made + handling fee is about 20 Eiuros (note that this has nothing to do with the VAT to be paid (24%)) so there is no misunderstanding regarding that. So having, low cost items sent 1 by 1 costs alot extra. If all would be sent in “one go” this additional cost is just paid ones (20 Euros). I often purchase items from other websites and they often do not have all iterms on stock, when ordered, and I then know thatI will wait for the “last” item to arrive on stock before all the items will ship. And that is okay as I will save by this way of “handling” the order. I also expect that this would save also for Conrad on the cost of handling+shipping. Just wanted to point this out. Items needed to be changed whilst order was not yet processed however they weren t and were sent anyway. Items were shipped 2 days after. Spoke to customer service multiple times however items werent changed anyway. Very poor customer service.

I recently had the pleasure of ordering a Panasonic SD-YR2540 bread maker from Conrad's online store, and I feel compelled to share my experience, especially considering the challenges of finding a wide selection of home appliances here in Cyprus. Finding this specific bread maker model on the island was a bit of a mission impossible, with only older models available at significantly higher prices. My discovery of Conrad, a German online store with reasonable shipping rates to Europe, was a game-changer. They listed the bread maker at an unbeatable price of €255, plus €16 for delivery to Cyprus. Initially, the model was out of stock, but Conrad promptly informed me via email, setting a transparent and communicative tone right from the start. Curious about the delivery timeline, I reached out, and their customer service was quick to respond, impressing me with their efficiency. When the bread maker was back in stock, they didn't hesitate to ship it immediately, keeping me in the loop throughout the process. The package arrived at my doorstep just two days later, a feat that I found incredibly impressive for a mere €16 shipping fee. The bread maker itself was in pristine condition, and the bread it produces is nothing short of incredible. My experience with Conrad has been overwhelmingly positive, not just because of the product, but due to their exemplary customer service and the ease of the entire process. For those residing in areas where home appliance options are limited, I cannot recommend Conrad enough. After 4 months,finally,the products missing from the package were also sent to me...

After 4 months, finally, the products missing from the package were also sent to me, products lost due to the package reaching me under any criticism, the whole box broken as if they rolled it to me! One product arrived broken (it's about the fan grill of a GYS E200 FV welding machine that I didn't send back because it was working and I was afraid that it would come back to me with the UPS too, broken into pieces)... For the rest, about Conrad, communication with them is very difficult, only after 4 months did I get possession of what I ordered and paid for (~750€)... I will not order anything from them again if they continue to work with UPS or I will no longer accept any package if it is even slightly damaged!

Hidden import charge

I bought a printer from Conrad at what I was led to believe was a good price. I have had to pay £45 import duty to UPS before they will deliver it. At no point in the ordering process was I made aware that there would be this extra charge. Information on this is buried deep in their website that you would only find if you look specifically for it. A con.

Dear Customer, the import duty is a national regulation of your country to make imports unattractive. This fee is not levied by the retailer but is a national regulation. In the shopping basket, we indicate the following under the price for every order: "Prices do not include customs duties."

If I could give 0 stars I would. One star is too much for you! I don't want to hear from Conrad ever again in my life!! The relationship with customers is below 0 and the packages are packed in such a way that you have a maximum 10% chance that the contents will arrive in good condition.
