Well, packing & general things were good, but I requested that you mention that the contents are " Railway modelling articles", which in fact they were, it could have saved me a few bucks in customs. Besides my cell no. was also missing from the address on the package. This also I told UPS in Delhi to do after clearance, they were un responsive besides charging me considerable amount towards clearance.

Your service was swift and efficient, however, when setting up our account I needed help at one point, so I called your office and a lady answered in German, I politely asked if she spoke English, to which she answered "NO" and promptly put the phone down, I then asked my German colleague to speak to her for me, by then I think she recognised the number and did not answer, luckily I managed to sort out the problem and shop as normal.

I purchased a motorised tv bracket which when it arrived I had to pay over £50 import duties. When I opened it the power supply was missing. I contacted Conrad immediately and submitted photos. I heard nothing for three weeks so I went onto their website and opened a 'ticket', I received an email back stating it was already being dealt with under a different ticket number. I emailed them again and was told I could return the whole item or take a standard power supply, I replied I would accept this. I heard nothing for a further 3 weeks, I emailed them again, nothing so I opened another ticket via the website then received an email saying they were awaiting my reply, so I replied to the email I would accept, nothing for a week, so I replied to the email again, nothing so went to the website opened another ticket and accepted. It appears that replying to their emails they randomly acknowledge. Finally received a power supply two weeks later and it is a generic psu with variable connections, not the original psu for the item I purchased.

Lack of critical information and very poor customer relations

Conrad's website failed to mention anything about import tax being payable to the UK when I ordered an item. I contacted Conrad via their online help system about this, but did not receive any acknowledgement or reply.

Comunication was very poor

Payment receipt was sent last apr 30th, but in may 14th We did receive an email with CANCEL PROFORMA, We had to resend payment. Comunication was very poor.

Dear Customer, this is because a proforma invoice is canceled because a real invoice is issued instead. Proforma invoices are only valid for prepayment and not as a final invoice.

The delivery took 5 days longer and risked to be returned because the delivery person was not communicated to UPS. I mentioned "Elöd Kincses" as delivery person (it appears in the order under my account) but your email confirming the shipment only mentions the company name.

Dear Customer, the address data will be adopted as initiated by the customer in the webshop. In the case of international shipping, there may be delays due to customs checks and other clarifications. We ship exclusively with UPS and do not offer a choice of carrier.

Broken bulbs and bad communication

First of all, the communication is very bad and the response is limited. was not able even to call and speak to them through the phone to clear the shipping out. second the packing is really bad, the bulbs are not packed the proper way with bubbles so they don't break. I received like 7 broken bulbs. I really did not like the whole thing. Regards,

rudeness on email and inability and unwillingness to assist with lower shipment charges and use other couriers - we have added a note to the Conrad account not to use you except in emergencies as the cost of goods on your site is good but then becomes expensive when you add costs of the shipment. I understand there are rules but your staff neither seemed to care or show any empathy or willingness to come up with a solution

Items needed to be changed whilst order was not yet processed however they weren t and were sent anyway. Items were shipped 2 days after. Spoke to customer service multiple times however items werent changed anyway. Very poor customer service.

After 4 months,finally,the products missing from the package were also sent to me...

After 4 months, finally, the products missing from the package were also sent to me, products lost due to the package reaching me under any criticism, the whole box broken as if they rolled it to me! One product arrived broken (it's about the fan grill of a GYS E200 FV welding machine that I didn't send back because it was working and I was afraid that it would come back to me with the UPS too, broken into pieces)... For the rest, about Conrad, communication with them is very difficult, only after 4 months did I get possession of what I ordered and paid for (~750€)... I will not order anything from them again if they continue to work with UPS or I will no longer accept any package if it is even slightly damaged!
