Stalling on refunds and violating EU Consumer Law (Directive 2011/83/EU)
I am writing this review as a warning to other consumers. After nearly a month of "stalling tactics" and broken promises, this shop continues to withhold my funds in direct violation of EU Directive 2011/83/EU.
The Issue:
I placed an order on February 27, 2026. Since then, the DHL tracking has remained stuck at "Label Created." The parcel was never handed over to the carrier. Under Article 18 of the EU Directive, the trader is responsible for delivery. Their internal investigation with DHL is a third-party matter and legally cannot be used as a reason to withhold a refund.
The Experience:
• Bad-Faith Delays: I requested a refund on March 10. On March 20, the shop officially confirmed the refund was being "processed manually."
• Empty Promises: A week later, they are still citing "internal approvals" and "accounting delays." This is not a "gesture of goodwill"; it is a mandatory legal obligation they are failing to meet.
• Lack of Accountability: The risk of loss remains with the vendor until the goods are in the consumer's hands. By holding onto my capital, they are engaging in a manifest violation of statutory rights.
Verdict:
If you value your money and your rights as a consumer, stay away. I have already flagged their membership status with Trusted Shops, as their current business practices do not align with the integrity of a certified retailer.
I am still awaiting my reimbursement "without undue delay" as required by Article 13.
