I rated this experience 2 stars because a relatively simple delivery issue turned into an unnecessarily frustrating process. My parcel was delivered to an unmanned DPD locker, but I could not collect it because no pickup QR code was issued. DPD explained that my e-mail address had not been included in the shipment data and that only POLO, as the sender, could request a redirect to a staffed pickup point. I contacted POLO in time and explained exactly what needed to be done. Despite the clear deadline, I received no substantive response before the storage period expired. The parcel was therefore returned to POLO. As a result, I still do not have my order, I now have to wait even longer, and I have spent far too much time calling DPD, waiting on hold, contacting POLO and following up on an issue that was not caused by me. Being busy is understandable. Failing to respond in time when only the sender can prevent a return is not. I hope POLO now resolves this quickly, resends the item at no extra cost and makes sure my correct contact details are included this time.
