I had looked at a particular vase for a gift for my wife, and asked for pictures of the vase with a light base. Order was as described and quite beautiful. It arrived on time and I perfect condition. However, web site says “free shipping”. It is quite alarming to receive a msg from DHL the day the item is supposed to be delivered saying that a fee of approximately + 25% is due and the item is being held until paid within 5 days or it will be returned to shipper. I paid the unknown fee and item was delivered the next day. But web site is quite misleading…not sure reason for additional fee and if it eventually went to DHL or Murano Glass. I will surely be very cautious before ordering again from Murano Glass.

The only problem I experienced with Made Murano Glass was not realizing I would have to pay a considerable customs duty to U.S. customs officials. When I was in Italy, i bought a few pieces of Murano glass. They are beautiful. I forgot to buy earrings, so I bought a pair online. They also are beautiful but they are too big for me. I should have paid more attention to the measurements(they are what you said). I also didn’t realize how much duty I would be paying. I would like to buy a smaller pair, but I don’t see any online. If I ever go back, I will definitely buy smaller earrings.
