I like that each item is quite thoroughly described and there are a lot of pictures from various angles and even close ups so one gets a good idea what to expect. The measurements for sizes are good, but it would help a lot to know what size is a model and what size is wearing.
The only downside is that it takes ages to deliver the parcel to Ireland but it is not the shop’s fault, it is the courier.

Lack of clear instructions about how to cancel order
Immediately after I made this order -- for Altra Long Peak 9+ GTZ running shoes -- I realized that this was not the shoe I intended to buy. I could not find a cancel order key anywhere on the website. This was Sunday and no one was working at Bergfreunde customer service to discuss the problem. I phone Bergfreunde Customer Service and was told that I only had 15 minutes after I ordered within which to cancel. However, I saw no method to do this, even though I was within the 15 minute time period. The woman I spoke to at Bergfreunde told me that I could not now cancel the order, although I could ship it back after it arrived. this is not standard practice among outdoor equipment stores that I have dealt with before. All or almost all allow cancellation as long as the item has not shipped. Since I'm being given a window of 4-5 days before shipment, I assume that the item in fact is in the pre-shipping stage and could be cancelled.

I often order from Bergfreunde , the high quality or special stuff for hikeing or trailrunning. One of the Best ín selection, prieces, sizes . I just had to send back a trail shoe, Size problem - totally my fault , should have gone with the bigger one- the prepaid return and the refound was super fast easy and smooth. Everything is perfect, except one important thing:
your delivery partner choose Croatian Post Office (HP) to deliver your shipments to the final destination in Croatia.
My experience with HP is (in one word) HORRIBLE.
To make a long story short, I had to pick your shipments at the main HP office by myself.
Each and every other courrier makes a phone call to the recipient of the shipment, but not the HP.
And when you want to complain, HP staff informs you (every time) that a lot of people complain about the same problem, but that they (HP) have no solution.
And if I pay i.e. 200,00 € for your shipment, I don't won't to read the horoscope wondering am I going receive it or not.
