In a friendly way, I got the itinerary as I requested. He was diligent throughout the trip, without errors and without delays. Thank you for all the guides without exception for their competence, their availability, and for their patience. I have nothing to suggest to you so that you can do even better, it’s excellent! I can just say that it is very important to make sure that the places to visit are certainly open and free to access. The Um Kalthum mausoleum was closed!

We had a fantastic self drive holiday arranged through TravelLocal in Costa Rica for 22 days which included 8 hotels, many guided tours and 10 days car hire. The travel app kept us informed all the way and its was great to have the freedom of a personal holiday with all the support you would get from a Group tour when you needed it. I have no hesitation in recommending both CRS Tours and TravelLocal too.

This tour were fantastic. both historically, of it's kindness and Beauty. The hotels were in a very good standard and Dennis, the driver was extremely helpfull and trustworthy. I found the visit in the village very learning and the inhabitants welcomed me. Also all the guides planned for the tour had a good background to be informative, and a very good spoken English.

Our first guide, Armar Singh and his driver were outstanding, the best hotel was the Taj Ganges in Vanarasi. The only minor problem was not knowing in advance how to get from Delhi airport to the Holiday Inn and then back to the airport: but it was of course all organised.

Local booking agent worked so well with us to plan a great trip. We had excellent tour guides, and drivers. All tickets to sites were pre purchased and made visiting easy. Excellent hotels.

Brilliant organization, great communication, responsive company. The only improvement would be to get the app earlier as soon as invoice is paid.

It was easy to use and I ended up working with a great local guy, so I guess you work with good people.

Payment platform should accept more options.

Elena did a fabulous job planning our two week trip to Greece. The itinerary included a combination of major historical sites like the Parthenon, Olympia and Delphi along with fun cultural activities like visiting a honey farm, wine and olive oil tasting and trips to the beach. I loved the hotels in each location. They were in great locations and included breakfast. But what made this trip exceptional were the people who provided their professional services included our driver, Michael, and the tour guides at the archaelogical sites. They were so knowledgeable and friendly and made us feel welcome!

Before going to Egypt we were nervous since it was our first time in that interesting part of the world so being able to connect with a trusted and reliable local tour agency there thru TravelLocal removed alot of our worry and the trip was great!

Great holiday booked with ease. Always quick to reply to email queries even after paying up. Great service, everything was perfect on our trip to Costa Rica!

There are several ways that I could describe my experience with Elena and Greece Insiders Travel. I could say that the experience was below average, average, good, excellent, or outstanding. In my case the trip and the planning were more than outstanding. Everything was so easy, from communications to the the payment. I can't thank Elena enough. This was my first time traveling outside the US for pleasure and I was traveling alone. I needed someone that I could trust to guide me along the way and that is exactly what I received. Everything went perfectly, from my arrival at the airport in Athens and being met by a professional driver who knew where he was going, and oriented me to the city on the ride to the hotel, to my departure on Aegean Airlines for my return to Athens from the islands, which was coordinated perfectly with my domestic airline flight for the trip home. At the hotel I received a welcome packet with my final detailed instructions for the trip. The tickets I needed for the ferry trip were included in the packet. The packet had dates and times for everything. To include, when I was to be where and who would be meeting me there. Everyone was on time as promised. Additionally, there were pictures of the hotels I would be staying with times for check in. The tour guides were outstanding. I went to Greece to learn about the country and I was very well educated by the tour guides. I cannot thank them enough. It was a please to learn from them. My private tour guide in Patmos stated that in in Greece it is important to get value for your money. I truly received value for the money I paid from the trip. Because I was not familiar with the country I had to depend on Elena to guide my itinerary choices. She was able to structure my trip so that I received everything that I hoped to get from the trip. She really listened and got it right. All I had to do was enjoy the trip. When I go back with my friends on a more complicated trip I will not hesitate to use Greece Insiders Travel and I hope I can get Elena to plan my trip. I felt like a VIP as I traveled Greece. I'm writing my review here because this is the place I found some reviews before taking the plunge to use Travel Local. Admittedly I was skeptical of the high marks. And here I am giving a 5-star because my experience with the website and my local expert was top-notch. I do think the website could have more customization options but that's not enough for me to dock a star off since Vangelis' local expertise made up for it. Like most travel plans, not everything goes as planned perfectly and you should always expect some unexpected. For example, one of my tours was cancelled and rescheduled for another day. Vangelis was of course quick to inform me about it. Having Travel Local's local expert comes in very handy here. I also had to check out really early from one of the hotels I stayed at, and weirdly, there was no receptionist to hand over my key at the time of checkout. So I was in communication with Vangelis again just to make sure the hotel didn't think I ran off with their key. Again, I received top-notch service and I can't give Vangelis a glowing enough review for being there when I had questions.

We chose Kamal by searching on the internet. The process of quoting and finalizing was very smooth. Payment logistics also no issues. Our trip was for 8 days over 8 cities. Your star is our driver and now family friend, 'BRAHIM' , he gets TEN stars out of 5. Morocco should be very proud of him. Calm, informative, helpful, cheerful ALL the time and kept our EVERY trip on time. He made sure all the hotels/Riads were ready for our arrival. Had each guide ready and waiting for us so no time was wasted. Excellent suggestions for local eating places at every place, my list goes on. Kamal did a fantastic job catering to our likes and set us up on an excellent tour. The local guides at Rabat, Chefchaouen and Tangier were excellent. The ones at Fez and Marrakech could be more informative and cheerful. We have not stopped heaping praise on the people of Morocco and the tourism industry since we got back. That is in a large part due to Kamal and BRAHIM! Extremely well done. Keep it up please.

Kasia and her team are top notch. They were professional, knowledgeable, and passionate about sharing their Poland with us. Most important of all is Kasia listened and adapted our tour of Poland to include places that were of personal interest to me. That included my historic, metropolitan, rural, and family history interest. In each city I visited I enjoyed the passion that the local guide showed for their city, and its history. I saw things that I knew about and learned new things about the places we were visiting. I highly recommend Kasia and her team if you are looking for a personalized tour of Poland that will allow you to bring home many positive and pleasant memories.

TravelLocal as a trusted advisor. TravelLocal allowed us to a tap into a network of trusted, verified businesses in the local country. The site could do more to share how they validate the businesses as we were jittery when submitting our first payment. What recourse did we have if the travel agent was not legitimate or did not meet expectations? Our sense is that you need to be an advocate for your interests and make clear the standard of travel experience you expect. Take a good review of the final itinerary and compare it to reviews on TripAdvisor and Google.

To say that our Croatian experience with Travel Local has been a fabulous trip, is denying them of so many other special ways in which to describe what this holiday has meant to my wife and I. We loved this country so much & what has truly enhanced this experience in so many ways, starts with the way Monika & Antonia have listened to what our preferences have been and designed the vacation perfectly!! They were both at our disposal to all hours, regardless of world time. All of these experiences cannot be converted to money, as the experiences we will remember for the rest of our lives, will far outweigh the money we spent. The crew on tour carried on this tradition of such exceptional service and there were a few that definitely require a special thank you: - Duye, our driver for the first 5 days of our adventure. Every day with Duye was an absolute joy, as his positive personality and infectious nature made each day pleasurable. Duye provided both a thorough overview of the places on each days agenda, as well as provided us with amazing additions to the schedule when time permitted. Duye is the perfect example of what exceptional service is all about. Our eternal gratitude goes to you Duye!! :) - Petra (our guide at the Plitvice Lakes). A person that really delivers a personality of caring, nurturing and explaining the indepth & interesting knowledge of her environment. Petra shows passion beyond that is normal & she treated us with an wonderful overview of her local knowledge that truly kept us captivated. - Ivana (our Split guide) - again the passion and ability to take us on the journey of history within this location, sincerely amazed us from start to finish & she has the most wonderful, positive demeanour that set the highest of standards and Ivana treated us with the greatest respect when we also had questions or special requests. - Toni (our water pilot in Hvar) - warm, gentle, and geniune personality who provided us with the options of the day, & was truly happy for us to chose. Given that we missed the Blue Caves, due to over crowded lines, our decision not to visit these caves gave Toni the opportunity to be versatile and the additional attractions were perfectly suitable to us. Thank Toni very much for creating that special day. Everyone else, including the hotel staff at the hotels chosen for our accommodation, have also contributed to the most memorable time for us in Croatia. I had the most amazing time in Morocco. I reached out to TravelLocal through a recommendation from a friend who visited Morocco last year. When I connected with Sarah, she was very helpful in putting together an itinerary for my 18-day trip. I didn't really know what to expect because I didn't do much planning/researching on my own. When we got to Morocco, everything was organized and ready for us. Our first driver didn't speak English, but when Sarah learned that we couldn't communicate with our driver, she immediately found us a new driver who did speak English. Barek (our driver) was GREAT! He was very friendly, very accommodating, and very easy to get along with. He always stopped for any photos we wanted to take, took us to the local spots, and shared fun facts about things we saw on our drive. Must-Visit: Sahara Desert, Hot-Air Balloon, Fez, Chefchaouen, Ourika Valley, Toudra Gorge, Essaouira, and so much more. There was not one day we did not enjoy during our time in Morocco. I would recommend TravelLocal to others and would also definitely recommend Barek as a driver. Recommendations for future guests - Tell your language preference to the agent at TravelLocal so they can set you up with a driver that speaks the same language. Ask for a detailed itinerary which shows the timings for each day so you can plan other activities around it.
