Englishman living in England First time buying from Cooking Life. To purchase this produce in England would have cost £99.99. Getting it from Cooking-life cost £65.00. Communications from Cooking-life was very good from the start. Order received; order processed order dispatched. Then nervous couple of day till it was in the tracking system. Fedex across the borders great tracking system. Then arrived in England. Hermes. Was not delivered when stated, said no one was in to receive it, no idea where they tried to deliver it to. Due to Easter had to wait a few more days, when the regular courier turns up, she said there was a temp driver on, lots of complaints. Conclusion Great service from shop and transport, hopefully your have the right courier for the final leg.

The product is still packaged but looks fine and was packaged well. I was well informed at all times but my address was messed up. I contacted the company who did indeed amend my address but not in time for the courier company’s delivery. On the morning of my delivery I saw another different address which I presume the courier company guessed from the botched original one. Delivery was sent on time but to this new address. Luckily I was able to hot foot it the the said house and got my parcel ( they had opened it but all was ok) due to the fact there was a picture and location map of the delivery. So well done the delivery company for that. It was a little stressful hence the three stars. Plus if the parcel had been taken in and the products thought desirable I might not have seen it given back to me.

They sent me other products than the ones I ordered, in the first parcel. I asked them to replace them and they offered me a 25% discount on the value. Basically, they forced me to pay for something I didn't need to be in their favor. In the second package, a product was sent broken, because I did not find any shards in the package. So Cookinglife sells junk! For two weeks, they didn't respond to my emails, so I filed a complaint with PayPal. An employee of Cookinglife asked me to submit a refund request to them on the site, although I had done so since January 10th. I accuse them of fraud and violation of EU law in online commerce. If Cookinglife do not pay back quickly, I will report it to the European Consumer Center. This company must be legal or disbanded. It has nothing to do with the European free market!

am afraid that one of the plates has been smashed in transit. I attach photo of the smashed plate and a photo of the packaging box. I must say that the packaging was insufficient. Whilst the plates were wrapped in bubble wrap and then a scrunched up a piece of brown paper was placed down 1 side only. There wasn't any notification on the box to indicate that the contents were fragile. Finally the plates are not Risotto plates. They are soup plates I attach photos of a real Maxwell Williams risotto plate and the ones sent to me and you will see the difference. Also they are definitely NOT "First class porcelain" as stamped on the reverse.I would like to return the plates to you f.o.c. and receive a refund. How can we achieve this? Regards Mo Williams

It may have been a major confusion with my order, I did not get all the beer glasses that were on the list, instead arrive some glasses i did not order, and also one of the glasses came broken. This are the items that are missing: - La Trappe Beer Glass Chalice 250 ml - Leffe Beer Glass 250 ml - Heineken Beer Glass Vase 250 ml - Brand Beer Glass Diamond On Foot 250 ml - Paulaner Beer Glass Weizen 500 ml - Affligem Beer Glass 300 ml - La Chouffe Beer Glass 330 ml - Brugse Zot Beer Glass 330 ml And the "Hertog Jan Beer Glass Weizen 500 m" came broken.´ I hope you are able to fix this as soon as possible, and please pay attention and be more carefull next time. Place order and paid in early January via Paypal. After one month the order still didn't turn up. When contacting them via Paypal (as there is no customer service contact provided by Cookinglife) they claimed that they never received the the money. Paypal charged my credit card and never issued refund for it. The company suggest I should put order again and make another payment. Absolutely ridiculous! I have to open claim via Paypal to get my money back. Avoid this company.

Service from Cooking life was good, but choosing to work with Hermes delivery service in the UK is a poor choice. First order that was delivered contained smashed glasses, courier could get away quick enough after delivering it to my front door, I soon discovered why. Second delivery has been with local depot for three days and still not delivered. I can’t even speak to the depot as the sender has to this. Please change your UK courier to someone more reliable

The reason I gave 1 star was to rate I received the order. However, to my disappointment, the order was wrong and damaged I have emailed the info address twice. Once to notify them that my order was damaged and items were missing and the second time was to notify them that I would write a review if they continued to ignore my emails. I would like an email from cooking to let me know when I will receive the rest of my order and the missing items.

Me senti enganada, comprei através do site, vivo em Portugal e a página veio automaticamente traduzida, e a tradução está mal, aparece escrito que o artigo é a panela de pressão e não a borracha. Fiz a reclamação e enviei o print da tela onde consta o erro de tradução, e recebi de resposta que me enviaram o que comprei, e que as panelas neste site custam 90€ Um verdadeiro horror, para algo que deviam de agradecer por eu ver tamanho erro.

I purchased a Smeg coffee grinder online from Cooking Life in the Netherlands. I have no complaint about the product or the efficient delivery BUT I find that as I am in the UK, an EU model has no guarantee over here - Smeg UK will not accept an EU model for registration and therefore I have no warranty on the product if it goes wrong. I was not told about this when I purchased it so that is why I am giving Cooking Life such a low rating.

This shop sent me a different item than I ordered. However, the shop will not refund me because they have not returned the item. But I can't get a refund because I haven't returned the item. But you said that you don't pay for the return shipping from outside the country. Who would be stupid enough to send back an item with a shipping cost higher than the refund? This has been the worst shopping experience I have ever had.

The goods arrived on time, however they were damaged and not during the delivery. Both the case and the cutlery inside were marked. The knifes also looked to be different in colour. When requesting to send it back, I received an address label, but it will still cost me to send it back from the UK. Not impressed and be warned if buying from the UK as it will cost you to send anything back.

Ordered kettle to Ireland and received it with European plug. Complained and was told they don’t have said kettle available with Irish plug. Why not to say that in the listing? Why to sell it to Ireland if you can’t provide it will work in Ireland. Absolute farce. My first and last time ordering from this site.

I'm very disappointed! I ordered 6 glass cups. All arrived broken. The glasses were fitted together and I think that was the reason. They should wrap each one separately. I like the glasses a lot but I'm going to ask for a refund because I'm afraid they'll send the glasses again and they'll also arrive broken.

I supposedly bought it on a website within the EU. However, it has been 7 days since my order has arrived. I asked and what's my surprise that it's stopped at customs and I'm certainly going to have to pay hefty customs fees!! I will never buy on this site again

The cups and saucers were much smaller than the ones I ordered. It took over a week to receive the goods after they had arrived in the UK. Very disappointed. Too much trouble to return the goods. Will not order from this company again.

I have waited over a week for my raclette grill ( estimated delivery 2-4 days) and Hermès canno give me a time for delivery. All they say is there has been a problem. Use a different carrier, their website is inpenetratab’e.

I strongly do not recommend, they sell goods that they supposedly have, but not, the refund will of course take another 10 working days, what's the point? why someone sells goods that are not there (to this day it is in stock on the website). Why are the money that I pay with them in an instant and the return takes several days? support responds after a few days. I DO NOT RECOMMEND

The order was processed quickly and came quickly but they delivered the package to a pick up point far from my home in the center of Gothenburg. It was difficult to reach walking or by public transportation and I don't have a car. There was a pick up point just down my street only a 6 minute walk or directly on public transportation but the didn't choose that one.

Everything appeared to be going great then Hermes got hold of it and tried to deliver the package on a Saturday - we are closed on weekends. They website states they will try and redeliver the nest working day, the didn't, or the day after or the day after that - you get the picture. Now I can't get an answer from anyone to advise what the heck is going on?

Still waiting on delivery of Le Creuset casserole pot. Tracked my order to find out why there has been a delay and apparently my parcel is 'a bit too big' to deliver and has been passed to a specialist delivery firm for delivery within 48 hours. That time has now passed and still no parcel. Hermes delivery tracking site has no up to date information.
