I purchased a steering lock from your website, and at no stage during the sales process did the product description state that it was designed for a left‑hand‑drive vehicle. Under UK consumer law, any key product characteristic that would materially influence a customer’s decision must be clearly disclosed before purchase. Had this been stated, I would never have bought the item.
After raising this issue, I’ve had multiple email exchanges with your customer service representative, Unfortunately, his responses have been unhelpful and incorrect. He repeatedly insists that the lock “will work on any car”, which completely ignores the core issue: the product was mis‑described, and essential information was omitted. This is not compliant with UK consumer protection requirements.
The law is clear: consumers must be provided with accurate, complete information before completing a purchase. Failing to disclose that the product is intended for left‑hand‑drive vehicles is a breach of these obligations, and refusing to pay for this item to be sent back in these circumstances is not lawful.
Given the lack of resolution and the refusal to acknowledge the legal position, I have now reported this matter to UK Trading Standards for review.

Online listings do not show tax inclusive price and when ordering I ordered via the uk site but once you select Ireland as destination, the price goes up again. So from google ad it appears the price was €26 (Petronas 3000E) but in fact it was €40.
It’s misleading to say it’s 26 when it’s actually 40 to my destination.

Bought this to replace my old liquid elements t300 as it gave up after nine years of hard service. The price is good and the service was excellent. Delivery was quick and on time.
My only niggle is that it came with the Euro plug and not the UK plug. No mention of this on the website which I find a little frustrating. Other than that everything excellent.

See pic. Could only have been in that condition when packaged and sent. Not good, but fits with other aspects of the CROP service and attitude towards customers......
