Buy Erica synths fusion modulator at 199 euros on sale, on other websites up to 350 euros, totally new unit and works perfectly. If you come from math or other modulators by cycles and EOC shots... it is another different and complementary perspective, ideal for drones, bleeps and sequences controlled from the module itself with its S&H functions, VCA offset, EG, noise... quite complete and gives new life to any oscillator. Everything perfect. Fast shipping, perfect package... and very good price for the product I got.
Concerning the product (8-voice expansion board for the Doepfer M ) the installation took more effort than expected. But this is a problem with Doepfer not with Volt Music Store. I missed MUCH better explanations about the required firmware update, and specially, the mandatory need for it. The unit should be programmed in a different way when the firmware is not the same in the two DSPs. It works faulty, which is scaring....

Communication could be a little better
Communication: item arrived in store bu I had to make the phonecall to find it out. Very friendly shop-owners nevertheless.. Very niche type store in the city of Rotterdam.. our own Schneidersladen haha.
The Echolocator is a brutally fun happy accidents-delay box.. Was not so sure about the face-print in real-life but it’s growing on me.
Recommend both device and store! will shop again.

Have had three orders from these guys and all of them were dealt with very well. Customer service rep replied to any questions quickly. Will be using them again. Only thing I would say is their offers can sometimes not reflect Genuine retail price. But if you do your research that’s not an issue.

Competitive prices, terrible communication
Have ordered at Volt Music twice now. The site has quite competitive prices and claims to have certain items in stock when other stores in Europe don't, so I thought I'd give it a go. Unfortunately the in-stock status and delivery times on their website are a rough guide at best. Simply put, don't trust the 4-6 days (in warehouse) or 1-3 days (in stock) and "will be shipped today" claims. Both my orders took several weeks just for the items to arrive at the Rotterdam store (and then another half week or so with tracked FedEx to Germany, that part was okay), even though they were listed as "in stock" or "in warehouse". No communication whatsoever until I messaged/emailed and called multiple times to hear what's up. If you don't contact them and push for an update, you won't get one. To their credit, when they eventually reply they are always polite and apologetic (they even put a little "sorry for the delay" note in one of my shipments), but I expect much better communication from a store that sells expensive professional audio gear. Delays happen, but then at least let your costumers know and be proactive about it.
Bottom line: If you are happy to wait and not know anything about the status of your order for a few weeks, go for it, you may save a few Euros compared to other shops. For me, this was the last time I ordered with them.

The expected delivery times do not match with reality - they say that the modules are shipping from their warehouse when in reality it seems that they actually ship from the manufacturer to them. Additionally really high shipping costs; on a positive note they were willing to refund part of the high shipping costs. Nonetheless the false delivery times resulted in a big mess for myself, hence the low rating.
