Great efficient service and delivery. I ordered my wines middle December as a new customer and had them delivered to a small ski resort in France without any hassle and any delay. No other wine merchant could accomodate me throughout Dec including the big guys like Berry Brothers and Bordeaux Index.
One bottle was missing entirely and one bottle had a damaged label on it. I emailed them the very same day to claim the missing bottle. No response for days. I repeatedly tried calling their customer service but no one picked up. When they finally replied, they said that they do not normally ship a single bottle and instead they offered me credit towards my next purchase. Which however meant that to get the bottle I wanted (and which I ordered and paid for), I would have to pay shipping. Naturally, this was unacceptable for me. After a lot of time and energy spent trying to convince them to send me the missing bottle, I finally received it (more than one week later).
Good experience, greatwines, speedy delivery. I'm jusorry they don't deliver other products from South Africa . For example, biltong, braaivleis and boerewors! You know, to compliment the wine .

As improvement I would suggest more and more diverse tasting box, even creating the "paring box"

Bad delivery experience
I ordered wine on May 27th, It arrived on the 6th June in a inadequate box with 5 of the 6 bottles I ordered loose in a cigarette carton One bottle had obviously broken in transit as the invoice was stained with wine. Who ever repacked the remaining bottles did so poorly, following discussions with 8wine the matter was rectified.

There is one - for me not too much understable - issue .
As a VS (variable symbol) in payment process I´d to put in an Order number, but this number, I´ve recieved from your side, is too long - 1611223CZ15708 (longer as it is possible to put in) and contains some letters, but they are unacceptable...
I´ve made the required payment, but nothing follows.
That is the reason why this my order wasn´t been proceeded and after some days I had to contact your subsidiary in Prague to solve this issue...
My payment wasn´t been paired with my order because of missing VS - but this VS was impossible to put in payment terms.
To be honest, I really don´t know how to make a next order by you...???
Is it really necessary to make an order by you and after that to extra contact you subsidiary to realize the business? isn´t that too complicated in today´s status??? Thank you.

Wine was great. Using UPS as delivery not good.
Went online abd changed delivery with UPS also rang UPS customer service to confirm change as I was away on scheduled delivery day.
This was all confirmed with UPS but they then delivered this when I was away causing parcel getting wet and having to get someone to pick it up

Delivery Delays
The wine selection is great but buying in the UK means that delivery is compromised by UK import delays and UPS constantly changing the delivery date. Despite 8wines despatching the wine immediately it took over 2 weeks to arrive.

Ordered wine which shipped 4th November. 22 Nov it had still not arrived. After contacting 8 wines It took a time for a response to come but finally 8Wines did in tern contact the haulier and resolved the issue quickly.

Great wines, shocking DPD delivery. Order in advance and store it if you want it for a special occasion
Honestly, although I Iove 8wines and have ordered from them twice, they use DPD so they will ALWAYS be late.
If you want something in time for a date, make sure you order it in advance to store it

Maybe pay more attention to the customers, specially with the big orders, could be good to try some wines for free, so we can order them next year to our customers
