Nach der Bezahlung - viel Ungemach !

Nach der Bezahlung ( 9. Januar 2026 ) erfolgte die Zulieferung der Weine nicht wie angepriesen/versprochen innerhalb von den 2-5 Geschäftstagen resp. 15.1.2026 „ Once paid, you will receive your tracking number and delivery will take place within 2-5 business days.“ , sondern erst am 2. März & 4. März 2026 . So gesehen also mit fast - zwei Monaten Verspätung - zudem - an zwei verschiedenen Liefertagen - zudem auch noch unvollständig obwohl dies bei der Bestellung bestätigt wurde „ Thank you for your wine order ZK2506374. Your favourite South African wines are currently stored safely in our warehouse in Germany and ready to be shipped to your home“ - 3 Fl Uva Mira The Single Tree Chardonnay 2023 sind immer noch ausstehend ! Super service to date.

I have nothing negative to say about the service which I have received from Capreo. Wines sourced from some of my favourite South African producers were easy to select, delivered promptly and intact. The progress of my order was simple to track via UPS with constant updates on progress.

Einmal und nie wieder

Wir haben anlässlich der Bestellung bei La Motte am 6. März 2026 klar gesagt, dass vor dem 10.04.2026 niemand zu Hause ist und die Rechnung erst nach diesem Datum bezahlt wird. Ebenfalls haben wir klar gesagt, dass wir am Donnerstags keine Lieferung in empfang nehmen können. Der Deutsch sprechende Mitarbeiter hat alles entgegen genommen und bestätigt, dass das alles kein Problem sei. Ein paar Tage später kam die erste Mahnung die Rechnung zu bezahlen was ich ignoriert habe. im Abstand von ein paar Tagen kamen immer wieder Mahnungen. Zuletzt die Mitteilung, dass die Bestellung aufgrund fehlender Zahlung annulliert ist. Zuhause angekommen, musste ich die Bestellung per Mail wieder öffnen lassen. Die Bezahlung folgte umgehend. Die Lieferung wurde angewiesen, natürlich auf einen Donnerstag. Ich durfte wiederum eingreifen und versuchen die Lieferung auf einen anderen Tag zu legen, was mit einigem Aufwand dann auch gelang.

I love the wine they deliver. When we were in South Africa the wineries told us this was the way to get their wines delivered. So we tried it and the wine arrived right after we came home! Now I order every now and then from several wineries we’ve visited. They deliver quick en secure!

perfection relation with the seller. Easy to order. Problème with delivery company, which failed to deliver at the day of appointment. During the phone call to get explanations, the employe did not seem to matter, did not seem to be involved, almost laughed at me. Very disturbing. at the time of writing this message, delivery is not yet made.

Quick delivery but wrong address!

Quick and efficient processing of my order and good updates on the progress of shipping to UK but unfortunately the package was wrongly addressed and was delivered to a house down the road from me . My house is No 61 but it was delivered to No. 41. This was despite the correct address being stated in my personal details in my on-line account. This makes me nervous about any future deliveries .

Please change delivery provider, ups are no good. Booked delivery option 8.30-12.30, ensured I could be available all that time. Suddenly they update to "delivery before end of day". At 18.06, message "could not deliver, handed off to nearest pickup point" . We were at home all day, so they just ignored delivering to us. All other very good.

Improve Customer Service!!

Have customer service people to answer the phone at all hours they are open! When sending in email, answer ALL questions! Now I have to resend an email as mine were only partly answered. I think there is a big disconnect between filling Capri orders at wineries in South Africa and tabulation of the order (in Germany?). This process should be very transparent, clearly showing the summary of bottles ordered BEFORE a link for payment is sent.

Gewünschtes Lieferdatum wurde nicht eingehalten; deutliche Verspätung führte zu ziemlichen Unannehmlichkeiten. Statt Donnerstag wurde Samstag geliefert, obwohl rechtzeitig bekannt gegeben wurde, dass niemand die Ware entgegennehmen kann. Kundenservice eher unfreundlich und unflexibel.

Great experience from the tasting to the delivery.

I've mainly appreciated: a) The tasting experience at La Motte. b) The Capreo team responded consistently via email within 48 hours once we got in contact, establishing the next steps and adhering to them. c) Once the shipment arrived, it was handled smoothly, both in terms of information and timing, even arriving a day early for delivery. One area that could probably be improved is the transfer of information from La Motte to the Capreo team, which created a few days of "emptiness" and uncertainty. It was then brilliantly recovered.
