All good. Large package arrived safely, well protected and communications with AL and the courier were very satisfactory. One star removed as the AL minimum order amount makes it awkward to buy smaller items direct from them if these smaller tools/components are not available locally in-country; otherwise everything was good and I’ll order from them again when I have a large enough shopping-list to justify the expenditure.

Fast and easily tracked delivery
The delivery arrived quickly and the tracking process was straightforward. Unfortunately, one of the items was damaged upon arrival. The metal lacquer bottle had leaked, losing about a third of its contents. Luckily, the products were individually bagged, which prevented further damage to the rest of the order. I have already contacted customer service regarding this issue but am still awaiting a reply.

The envelope that had my parts in it was opened up then they taped it shut with 1 piece of tape in the middle of the envelope and left the sides of it open, arrived at my house two of the three things I ordered were missing, but they did send me a catalog which is nice and they’re replacing the missing stuff for free and I thank you

Been building plastic ships for many decades now. Just ordered my first wooden ship (San Francisco 2) and started building it a few days ago. I'm very pleased with what I've been sent: pieces look superb and easy to handle, also thanks to the detailed instructions that came along in the box and on the internet. I even got a little "present": two tiny bottles of paint. Extra thank you for that!
One remark: according to the instructions, everything should be glued with cyanoacrylate glue, but that didn't work very well for me (maybe due to my lack of experience?). Instead, on some occasions, I've used simple wood glue express (which dries in 5 minutes), diluted with some water and this proved to be a sufficient and easier method (for example the deck planks, worked out fine, because there's a possibility to still move them in place if necessary).
In conclusion, I'm a satisfied customer and will order more projects in the future.
