Review summary
Customers consistently praise the high quality and detail of the kits and materials, as well as the unique and diverse selection of products not easily found elsewhere. Delivery is often described as fast and reliable, and the secure, protective packaging—sometimes including bonus gifts or small extras—is highly appreciated. Customer service is frequently recognized for its responsiveness and helpfulness, with many customers experiencing smooth problem resolution. However, some customers express dissatisfaction with the shift from printed manuals to digital or video instructions, noting a need for clearer, more accessible guidance. A few customers report recent declines or specific issues in product quality, occasional shipping delays due to customs, and rare instances of slow or absent customer service responses. Concerns are also raised about the sturdiness of packaging boxes.

The kits are excellent. What still needs work is customer service: while I eventually received the missing supplies, there was no E-mail confirming receipt of the request, so I ended up ordering the items and now have extra supplies.

I bought the micro scrapers and micro to…
I bought the micro scrapers and micro saws. I would have gotten more small tools (prices are quite good) but I already had most of them. The micro scrapers are a unique item. I tried to think of something I could use the rigging tools for but I’m making regular miniatures not ships. I have a similar set that is shorter but is for applying minute amounts of glue in tight places. The only thing I can think of that would be a good addition is the micro scrapers in individual pieces - especially the fluted shapes - that could fit in an x-acto knife handle. Then they could be used to make flat rounded rosettes or maybe even used with a mini-lathe.

excellent product. It would be nice if you could put the varnish and paint number in the directions so there is no confusion on what the varnish and paint is. Other than that I am completely satisfied with my model. Thanks again....Hugh Hansen BLUE NOSE.

Great place for the ship modeller
I am a big fan of Artesania Latina. Building the Tuna fishing boat Marina having already built the Bounty's Jolly Boat and the Llaut Palmanova. One day I might build the Surprise

Just received the kit for The Harvey and just based on the instructions alone I am extremely happy with what I have purchased. I have al
ready build 1 version of the same ship but the instructions were so minimalistic I had to resort to the internet for pictures so I know what it looked like. It was three pages of extremely rudimentary drawings, that was it, nothing else.
Am looking forward to building this new kit!

Shipping was easy (although import duties...pain. Not your fault, but can you at least give people heads up on what to expect?). Bonus gift...awesome. highly recommend for professional and gracious service.

I searched many sites to find a Topsail Schooner - AL was the only site that had what I was looking for - the Harvey. Shipping to the US took a bit of time, but I'm not in a hurry. Looking forward to starting the build.

At age 82 this is so welcome
I have been an airplane and ship model builder since 1962. Now at age 82 I was browsing the web and found Artesania Latina. The ship model "open HMS Victory" looked interesting, so I ordered it. Until now, I used to pick up drawings and I produced each and every detail from wood, metal and thread. I do not have the time for that any more. This ship model of HMS Victory is so nice to work with. I can make use of many years of experience and personal methods/tools.

8 days for delivery - Great!
8 days to get my order from your place in Spain to mine on the other side and end of the world is great service. Arrived in good order on the date and time indicated when the parcel left you.
Not sure that having the instructions via video is as convenient and easy to use as the pictures that made up the instructions for my previous model.

To Newbies - Start with a small, simple kit
I like how they recommended starting with a small ship because I’m new to modeling. Also, I like that I received my Viking kit, here in the USA, 8 days after ordering it.

Artesania is answering to all my questions. When I need stuff it arrives in less than a week. I am building the planked version of HMS Victory.

Wonderful service
When ordering, I ordered one item twice, unintentionally. Instead of just sending the order, you contacted me to confirm if I really wanted two of the same item. I did not, so I was able to change it, and ordered another item instead.

I received the model San Juan Nepomuceno. I just opened the box and loved how everything was laid out. I am waiting for a CD player so I can start building it in about a week. Many thanks

The kit was very complete. Everything has fit together perfectly, very precise. I also like the instruction videos they have been very helpful. So far I am at chapter 5 step 2. The only downside is expensive shipping cost to the US for any additional (small) items I want.

Nothing could be better
Artesania Latina has it right, right from the start of the purchase to delivery of the product.
I wouldn’t shop anywhere else.

Great packaging and attention to detail
Great packaging, attention to detail and the kit parts all look to be high quality and extremely well thought out.
None at this time just started building the kit.
I like that you sell paint to go with the kit, tools to help build it, and video to help guide the build

High quality, competitive price and fast delivery.
This is the third time that I purchase stuff from Artesania Latina. You are always fast and price worthy. This time I compared you to my domestic alternatives. In spite of further distance you are competitive. Beside that, you are faster. I need the plank bender ASAP.
You could improve your home page. E.g. if you hit "ships" it is almost impossible to hit British Ship Models. Sometimes I find HMS Victory (open) but not the closed one.
