Sending home tastes of the places we go.
Doing a European tour. It’s hard to get the grandkids souvenirs and try to pack them in our luggage that is already full so I ask them if they wanted a tasting tour of everywhere we go. Amsterdam was our first stop. We passed the bakery and had one so knew this would be the first orders sent home. They were a hit. Seen them in stores in America but definitely not the same.

We have six grandchildren and instead of souvenirs we decided to send of food tour from all the counties we are visiting. Amsterdam was first so we send Stroopwaffles. They were a hit for everyone! I explained how to heat them over coffee, tea, or hot cocoa cups but I think most missed that part and just ate them. Thanks for the memories we made with our loved ones at home!
