My order was packed extremely well. Wrapped with many layers of bubble wrap so the glass was well protected. The piece looked just like in the pictures. It was absolutely stunning. The only issue was it needed a black background and a light placed under the base. Recommendation, say best viewed on a black background. Without the black background, the piece looked washed out and the glass virtually clear. With the black background, all the gold came forth and the piece was totally transformed and looked awesome.

Packaging glass sculptures for shipping overseas should be improved, significantly. Arte di Murano shipped a glass-sculpted candlestick wrapped in paper, then packed in a card box, topping the paper wrap with Styrofoam chips. The box was marked only with text in Italian, but even then the paper-wrapped sculpture was put in the box upside down as the text "alto" on the box was not understood by the packer. No graphic signs (arrows or clips showing the top) or warnings like "GLASS, FRAGILE". There is no indication of fragility on the waybill. The sculpture arrived to Canada completely broken - head, both hands, candle holder - in shatters. And it was a order for a birthday gift. I must admit that I was not able to refrain from crying.

The ordered item was delivered on December 20th. As per our policy (point 3.7) you have 5 days to claim any breakages or damage to the goods received for insurance reasons. The communication reached us on January 8, 2024, we immediately asked for the photographic material to understand, nevertheless we contacted several times by telephone to resolve the problem and received no response.
