I've always trusted and enjoyed shopping with gardens4you. Plant quality is good with a speedy delivery. Recently though I received a delivery where the plants just shouldn't have been sent out, after my initial disappointment, decided to wait to see if they would make a comeback which they didn't, that was when I decided to contact customer service. They responded very quickly, just asked me to send a photo as evidence and they would then replace the order if they still had them in stock or refund me, I was more than happy with that response so all good. Easy to deal with this company even if you experience a problem. 👍

In a nutshell: two out of four plants I received were diseased (the other two are in quarantine waiting to see if they are also diseased) and customer service was rude and argumentive when I tried to ask for my money back (which I did after I had to threaten legal action and lateral flow tests to prove the diseased status of the plants, why is it always a battle?). The customer service in question replied from the UK, the plants came from the Netherlands, I ordered from gardens4you (dot) ie. To get a response from The UK was bizarre as it's through an IE website and I will certainly be reporting gardens4you for using an IE website to "weare" (dot) ie and the relevant authorities for abusing Irish internet infrastructure and cyberspace. I am also calling out the nursery (ies?) in the Netherlands for their obvious poor care of plants and the many holes in gardens4you in general's Standard Operating Procedures and Policies I can immediately digress from my experience. I tried to bring this to their attention and resolve the dispute quietly but after the experience with the UK customer service and no response from Melvin Jansen who I tried to contact I am now bringing this to the public's attention. Save your money DO NOT buy with Gardens4you, buy local or nationally (most local/national stores are happy to order more exotic plants for you), and support the Irish economy. We as an Irish customer base deserve better than the poor service from the Netherlands and rude customer service from The UK.

Dead, rotten and unrecognisable plants sent!!! I have received my order and I have never seen anything like this before: dead, rotten, mouldy and unrecognisable plants. This must be some joke or I don’t even know what to call it. There is no way, you can plant them. I just want my money back and someone to collect that stuff, as I am not wasting more money to send those plants back. I already paid more than 120 euro.

We advertise plants cultivated outdoor all year along. We send the majority of our plants as naturally growing young plants. These young and robust plants will recover well after planting and sprout anew. Hosta roots are always sent dry so as not to develop disease or mildew they need to be soaked in water prior to plant them Pennisteum are ornamental grasses that turn to straw in autumn and winter. In late spring, the plant becomes an ornamental grass again, as we can see from your photos. The rosebush shows no signs of damage, just like the other items.

Lavendar plants arrived withered and in poor shape. I have repotted the plants in fresh compost and hope at least one will recover. Lesson learned. I have ordered live plants from Mr Middleton and tgey arrived in tip top shape and condition. Just saying.

Unfortunately it is clear that the plants in the photo have suffered heat damage in transit. Please contact our customer service for a new shipment or a refund.

Purchased tree a week ago. Shipped 5 days ago but still not delivered. DPD tracking is a disaster - continuously being re-routed. Item has been boxed and in transit for over a week with no water. Will be interesting to see condition when it arrives (If ever).

the order takes a while to be process which is not stated in the delivery time, shipping was expensive and slow, plants arrived at the significantly smaller side of the size scale provided on the website. I would definitely not order again.

The photos on our website show you always a mature product photographed in summer period. Don't worry, buddleia can grow 30 to 40 cm per season. They're hardy shrubs that make great butterfly magnets.

Ordered 4 iris ensata last year. They were completely shriveled up and didn’t grow. Ordered the same this year and the same thing happened.. Very disappointed. Drew this to their attention and was dismissed. (Other plants in the order were fine.)

Your previous order was from april 2022 the guarantee ended in October 2022 and this is the reason why the warranty was void. Our irises are dried rhizomes on a grid. A dry rhizome loses 80% of its volume. Just soak them before planting them in the sunniest part of the garden. The order from 15/04/2023 is guaranteed until the 24/06/2023 don't wait for the end of the warranty to contact us with pictures of these rhizomes if the plants failed to grow.

We are sorry about what happened and we mentioned it to you. We know that on the 2 orders sent packages that were bundles (several boxes attached together) were separated and lost by dpd. We have after investigation with the carrier as soon as possible replaced and refunded what could not be shipped anymore. It's a pity that your commentary doesn't mention this at all.

I received 6 plants towards the end of last week 28/04/23 and two of those plants look dead. Last rights wouldn't even save them. I can't understand 12cm pots with a two foot stick coming out of them. 2 sticks in each pot these may be good at a later stage when the plant grows. I understand for packaging etc etc but could be done better. This is not the first time I have received plants from Gardens4You in this state.

Blueberry and rubus doesn't have leaves and can appear dead on arrival, that is the time of year we have -1ºC at night and 9ºC right now in the beginning of May normally in other years the leaves are already out but this year it is very cold. If you scratch away a small section of bark with your finger nail with will see that the bark is green underneath. Once planted the plants will grow normally.
