Customers frequently praise the website and app for being user-friendly and easy to navigate. Many appreciate trains running on time, and clean trains and stations contribute positively to the overall travel experience. Staff are often described as friendly and professional, and most customers find the payment process convenient and appreciate prompt refunds. Passengers generally find the trains comfortable. However, some users note occasional bugs or confusing elements in the website and app. Delays are a recurring frustration for some journeys. Several negative experiences highlight issues with staff rudeness or unhelpfulness. Complaints are common regarding unavailable seat selection or unclear seat maps, limited English or other language support for non-Polish speakers, and drawbacks such as limited legroom, lack of air conditioning, or crowded conditions. Wonderful view and landscape during the trip. Punctuality was excellent, very appreciated. I only wish seat were a bit more comfortable and possible to recline. Might be nice to have a short recording in polish, english and spanish (for example) telling about the highlights, cultural, spiritual or historical value of the places the train goes through. For tourists this would be a great way to get to know the places they are going through while in the train. And for polish people from the area, it would remind them of how blessed they are to live here.

¡Totalmente recomendable! 🇵🇱🚆❤️

Great and easy to use

PolishTrains is a useful and user-friendly platform for booking train tickets in Poland. The website is easy to navigate, making it simple to search for connections, compare options, and purchase tickets quickly. Pros: Easy and intuitive to use Convenient way to search and book train tickets Clear presentation of routes and schedules Cons: Online ticket ordering does not always work smoothly Seat selection is sometimes unavailable, which can be frustrating when traveling with others or on longer journeys Overall: PolishTrains is a helpful service that makes train travel planning much easier, but improving the reliability of the booking process and providing consistent seat selection options would enhance the user experience. ★★★★☆ (4/5)

I liked the punctuality of the trains and the cleanliness of the carriages. The train ticket booking website is user-friendly and generally works well, although it is sometimes under maintenance, which prevents reservations from being made. However, I did not like the fact that many trains do not offer reserved seating. As a result, it is not always possible to secure a seat in advance, which can make the journey less comfortable and reduce passengers' sense of security and convenience.

I really liked travelling in the Intercity Carriages, especially the corridor coach. Having 6 strangers enclosed and being given the opportunity to share stories, adventures and suggestions about where and when to go, is more of an advert for Polish Tourism than any marketing campaign could possibly match. I strongly encourage Intercity to keep these trains going as long as possible, especially the corridor coaches. When there was an electric failure on a coach, it would have been lovely to see your Guard/ Train Manager and to give us free water in the absence of fans and air con.

Simple

A possibly useful improvement would be to specify the departure and arrival stations. When I searched for a route between two cities, I was given a train that stopped at other stations within the same city. That was partly my fault because I didn't check or select a specific station, but it might be helpful to suggest the stations that are closest or most convenient for the traveler.

I like the Europe-like train experience - clean stations, easy to use stations even for foreigners, modern trains - for a hungarian it is like a dream. Hope soon we will even reach that level. Something I missed - although on the train we traveled to Zakopane was a tv screen that shows the actual speed, on the Pendolino that's a high speed train the screen only showed ads, I missed that function.

Regular User - for a week!

We have used the trains all week. They are clean, efficient, and great to use. It is however difficult for us as tourists to tell train companies apart - for one journey we got on the wrong train number. Also, the train to Hel today was packed (standing room only) from Sopot, and at each stop after more and more people incl bikes and prams got on. It was well overcrowded.

Straightforward to use and understand

Website is straightforward and easy to understand - especially for someone visiting from overseas who is not familiar with how the Polish train ticketing system operates. The only thing I have struggled with is getting the ticket to link up with the Apple wallet - but that may be my phone rather than a site issue.

Train was on time, quick and efficient. Quick journey to Auschwitz 45 mins. I did have difficulty finding which platform i was to catch the train from as the ticket was fully in polish and the signs in the train station. I had to ask a polish person to read my ticket to work out what platform i should be on. Maybe an option for english translation? Otherwise everything good.

Bicycle spot not available though reserved

I made a reservation for a bicycle. When I entered the train, there were two e-scooters locked in the spot for the bicycle. I asked the conductor and she asked a bit around but the owners were in another car. I could not use the bicycle spot that I had paid for. My bike was in the middle of the corridor and I was always worried somebody might bump into it or it might fall.

⭐️ Very disappointing experience We travelled by train from Warsaw to Kraków and were already aware when booking our tickets that there might not be enough seats available. We accepted that and thought that, if a seat happened to be free, we could sit down. During the journey, there was an area designated for bicycles. Since nobody was using it at the time, we placed our suitcase in a corner and sat on our own suitcase. Importantly, several other passengers in the same area already had seats, but instead of keeping their luggage in the designated luggage spaces above/near their seats, they had placed their bags in the bicycle area. At some point, two passengers arrived with bicycles. Instead of asking the passengers who already had seats to move their luggage and free the bicycle space, we were the ones told to move our suitcase and stand up — even though we had paid for our tickets and were simply sitting in a corner on our own luggage because there were no available seats. What made the situation even worse was the attitude of the staff member checking the tickets. She was extremely rude and simply told me, “Stand up now.” There was no attempt to find a reasonable solution or even to speak to us politely. We completely understand that a designated bicycle area needs to remain available for passengers travelling with bicycles. What we do not understand is why the burden was placed on passengers who were already standing/sitting without a seat, while other passengers who had actual seats were allowed to occupy the bicycle area with their luggage. If a train is so full that there are not enough seats for the number of tickets being sold, perhaps the service should consider limiting ticket sales for that particular journey. It is not reasonable to sell tickets for an overcrowded train and then expect paying passengers to stand throughout the journey, while also making them feel like they are causing a problem. The lack of seating was disappointing, but the rude and disrespectful treatment by the staff was what really made this experience unacceptable.

Easy to use once I familiarized myself…

I found the website easy to use once I figured out the stations in wanted and the type of train service. I am making these reservations from California, USA and I wasn't used to the station names etc. The only issue I confronted was that I was told that I could only make reservations 30 days in advance of my trip. I made the reservations at the 29 day point and found that many of the seats had already been reserved. Perhaps there I misunderstood the timing or maybe there is a rush to make reservation at the 30 day point.

World class service

pendolino is impressive. mostly on time travel. Include More variety in food menu to include more countries and cultures - may be asian / indian food looking at number of indian travellers. For first class in intercity trains please introduce a paid food service in he coach rather than having to visit the WARS coach, More leg room in first class IC seats facing each other
