I mostly travelled first class, and was very comfortable, and also the 3 times I was in 2nd class I was still comfortable. The best thing was when I accidentally left a bag on a train by the exit steps when getting off at Ilawa Glowna. I managed to get to speak to someone the next day, and found my bag had ended up at Krakow Glowny, in PKP lost and found. Much relief and gratitude. I changed my plans and flights so I could go to Krakow to collect the bag, which was a simple process once I found the office. And everything was still in the bag.

For this ride from Gdansk to Poznań it is very to recommand to take a seat reservation. The traían can be crowded. I could take a nap during the journey. The conductors ask you wach time for your ticket. Be prepaired. I don't like delayd. The day before at the same distance Others Direktion there was 11 minutes delay. So I was warned. At thus Connection there was also 11 minutes relax. AND yes changing time was 11 minutes, so I lost May Connection and had to wait for 2 hrs in Poznań because of other delays. That was not amusing. At least there we're good possibilities to wait inside tue station.

Very well , travelled many cities by train in two weeks in Poland , the combination and the time schedules also the price are incredibly well. Only one important things need to be worked on, Łodg municipality need to make som easier ways to come to these train stations without going 3 km in a difficult street with languages. I was very lucky that an young polish 28 years Soldier helped me otherwise i could not make the trip by my own. I am so thanks full that randomly i asked him to help me. I dont know him but I am deeply grateful i get his help 🙏🏾👏🏽

Needs improvement in toilet cleanliness as it always runs out of tissue and smells badly... soundproofing seems less effective for class 2 enclosed cabin. Could here loud chats from another cabin. The old or well kept interior of the train makes you reminisce the past and felt like you've turn back the time giving you a medieval age vibe while being surrounded by Gen Z peeps along with the modern gadgets.

This is my first experience with Polish trains, and it hasn’t left a good impression. At the station in Warsaw, none of the ticket agents spoke English, and they were quite unpleasant—even though there was no queue. In the end, we always buy our tickets online. You have a rather absurd system. You sell tickets while specifying that a "seated spot is not guaranteed." Passengers end up traveling while standing. And the train cars turn into cages packed with people and luggage. Moving around, traveling, or getting to the restroom becomes difficult. You need to modernize and update your system. We took 4 intercity trains, and they were all on time. That’s a positive.

Good service and price but I would like to pick seat and at least see a seating diagram. Our seats were pick automatically and the numbers made it appear as if one of our group was seated separately(78,71,72,73) I e-mailed your service to inquire, if we could sit together after being unable to see a seating chart on your website or find a way to change seats. However they replied quickly showing a diagram that we were in fact all together. It would have been more convenient to have been able to confirm it right away on the website.

The online booking is extremely easy and convenient. I appreciated being able to use the site in English. The trains were clean, comfortable, modern and fast. I did suffer one incident on my train from Warsaw to Wrocław, however. My left shoe fell off as I boarded the train, and it landed within easy reach, extremely close, but in between the train and the platform. Everyone advised me not to reach down and retrieve it, saying it was dangerous to do so. When I asked 2 conductors for help, they flat out refused to help me in any way. I had to continue my journey with only one shoe, a 68 year old woman traveling solo, with no other shoes in my bag with me! To say it was stressful and terribly inconvenient is an understatement. I was shocked and highly annoyed that the 2 young conductors (one female, one male) behaved in a way I associate with the Poland I knew 45 years ago: the “Nie Ma!” mentality. They not only did not try to help me, but they were rude as well. Luckily, the lovely man who shared my compartment (also unexpected, because it was a first class ticket—expected a proper single seat as shown on the schematic) offered me his oversized klapki as a consolation prize!

Staff was friendly. I do recommend that visitors from other countries should purchase tickets online, rather than waiting in slow lines at train station. Also, visitors will need to be resourceful about how to get the ticket on their phones. Because I did not receive a text, I had to do a screen capture from my laptop. Perhaps I should have used my phone to obtain the ticket in the first place. Anyway, I took two train rides and will recommend trains to my friends in the US and other parts of Europe. My first trip to Poland was wonderful. Next time, I will need to learn more Polish words.

Upon boarding the train, I found the seat was taken. I went to the buffet car to await ticket inspector. I explained (in English) my situation. He then showed me that I had inadvertantly, bought a ticket for the next day. He allowed me to pay for the journey, showed me how to claim back the fare I had wrongly paid. It was a good professional attitude and made my trip much easier.

Very clean and punctual trains. Inside each carriage, there are several displays showing the train’s various stops, along with an audio announcement. The toilets are clean. On the Intercity trains, which have a bar service, staff walk through the carriages with a trolley offering still and sparkling water, which is free of charge. The only downside we noticed is that there are very few translations into English.

Nuestro viaje de Varsovia a Cracovia con PKP Intercity fue comodísimo. Viajamos con nuestra bebé de 10 meses y pudimos hacerlo en una sala de 6 asientos reservada específicamente para viajeros con niños menores de 4 años y mujeres embarazadas. La experiencia fue fantástica: mucho espacio, tranquilidad y, sobre todo, unas condiciones perfectas para viajar con un bebé. Nos sentimos muy cómodos durante todo el trayecto y el viaje se nos hizo muy agradable. Sin duda, volveremos a elegir este medio de transporte para nuestra vuelta a Varsovia. ¡Totalmente recomendable! 🇵🇱🚆❤️

Al hacer en la página Web la reserva para un día específico y pinchar ese día, en la selección aparece el día siguiente. Hice la compra y posteriormente me di cuenta del día equivocado. Traté de cambiar el boleto pero no me funcionó bien la página. Finalmente compré el boleto correcto y solicité la anulación de la primera compra. Me devolvieron el dinero, pero no completo. En ninguna parte de la página aparece que en caso de devolución hay un cargo que no se devuelve

Wonderful view and landscape during the trip. Punctuality was excellent, very appreciated. I only wish seat were a bit more comfortable and possible to recline. Might be nice to have a short recording in polish, english and spanish (for example) telling about the highlights, cultural, spiritual or historical value of the places the train goes through. For tourists this would be a great way to get to know the places they are going through while in the train. And for polish people from the area, it would remind them of how blessed they are to live here.

I liked the punctuality of the trains and the cleanliness of the carriages. I really liked travelling in the Intercity Carriages, especially the corridor coach. Having 6 strangers enclosed and being given the opportunity to share stories, adventures and suggestions about where and when to go, is more of an advert for Polish Tourism than any marketing campaign could possibly match. I strongly encourage Intercity to keep these trains going as long as possible, especially the corridor coaches. When there was an electric failure on a coach, it would have been lovely to see your Guard/ Train Manager and to give us free water in the absence of fans and air con.

The website works well. One issue is that it’s unclear whether a first-class option is available. We assume that if it doesn’t appear as an option, it’s because it isn’t offered. However, on other booking platforms where a first-class option does appear, it leaves us wondering about the PolishTrain site: is first class simply not available, or is it offered but with no seats left?

Bought an online ticket from Wroclaw to Krakow. There very few seats left. My browser displayed a ‘ticket being issued message’ for over 20 minutes. I refreshed the browser a few times and it was still stuck. Worried that I would miss the last few reserved seats, I bought another ticket from the official PKP site. That ticket arrived in 2-3 minutes. After 30 minutes, my polish train.eu ticket finally arrives via email. By then, I had already purchased another ticket. Contacted customer service by email and they refunded my fare. In sum, 5 starts for customer service but 1 star for the initial experience.
