Exactly what I was after
I'd been looking for a standout watch that would go with brown clothing when wearing it. There were a lot of 'meh' options out there until I found this website. There were so many that I liked that it was actually hard to choose which one to go with. I went for the Zebrawood in the end and haven't looked back. Lovely products, problematic delivery
I’ve bought from Holzkern before and been very happy with quality and appearance. The item I bought this time fell apart shortly after receipt - a link pin dropped out. Fortunately this was in the home so it was retrievable and repairable. The item itself is lovely for the price. The major problem with Holzkern though is the use of FedEx. I won’t go fully into the drama and lateness of the deliverers and the lack of quick responsiveness from Holkern when problems arose but it put me off buying from them again.

Watch was lovely and beautifully made but too small for my wrist. Even my very slim daughter struggled when she tried to put it on. I have bought bracelet watches before and usually have to take a link out so was very disappointed. However not having to pay return postage was very good customer service. The packaging was really badly damaged and I could pull the watch box out where it was split without having to open it using the normal method.

Frustration on receiving watch
Having bought a Holzern watch in the past in a shop in UK I was really excited to purchase a new watch online.
It arrived and looked beautiful in the box. It became a very frustrating from there on. The watch was far too big for me and I tried to move the fastener along the strap but it was screwed right on the strap. There were no instructions or tools in the box. It took Holzern two days to reply to my questions about how to change the strap fitting. They told me to use the tool in the box. There was NO tool in the box or instructions. I found this incredibly frustrating. I had to go to a local watch shop to help me adjust the strap and change the date on the watch face. What should have been a magical experience receiving a new watch I had wanted for ages turned into an incredibly annoying experience. Why are t instructions and tools provided? I was left feeling helpless and unable to adjust the watch myself.

Bought as a birthday gift for my partner so as of yet he hasn’t seen them but personally I am delighted with my purchase of a watch and bracelet, the quality of the materials looks top notch and to my eye looks really well made, the packaging is also quality, delivered with a week also so overall I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this brand, the only thing and it is by no means a negative is I also purchased the gift boxes but I personally think the boxes they arrive in are nice enough that the gift boxes aren’t really required.

I love your watches and now have three, of varying faces and wood bracelets. I particularly like the wooden bracelets as I get no reaction as I did with metal or leather. I also have a necklace and earrings. Having purchased one of your bracelets for my goddaughter, I can also vouch for it being very popular with a member of the younger generation.
The only criticism I would have is altering the links on the bracelets of the watches which are fiddly at the best of times but, with a bit of arthritis in fingers, becomes quite a task. Despite this, I hope to collect another watch or two!

It’s a lovely watch, great quality mostly and very pretty. The only reason for the 4 star review is I feel like the clasp seems quite light weight and hollow. It doesn’t have a lot of weight to it and it just doesn’t seem the match the quality of the rest of the watch. Given the price of the watch you’d expect the entire watch to feel sturdy. But other than that, I’m happy with my purchase and I’m enjoying wearing it - I’ve had a lot of compliments so far!
