The product is absolutely a 5 stars but cost in Europe it’s really making the product not very accessible. Would be also very helpful a physical shop for trying the product and give a feeling of the type of drawing/writing, which I think is one of the most important part of the experience with this device and unfortunately very subjective to the user. Personally I like it a lot even though I have still 2 minor concern: Whiter screen (I would like to have even closer to paper experience, but I know of the limitation of a e-ink) and a little bit too much space between the tip of the pen and the actual screen.

Nothing I can say now. Seems everyting go smoothly. Just 1 issue, the sending via DHL, it is not good as DHL mention I am not home so that they put into some pickup points. But exactly I am home the whole day and no one called me or comes. DHL mention there GPS showed the driver is around my house, but I am there all the day, not find any delivery. I have to ask friend help me to pick up it with very complicated process. Is it DHL express or DHL complicated?

Packaging and product build fells premium (Apple like) and writing feel is great. Unpacking is easy and package is ready for return. Delivery in Europe was super fast (DHL Express) and in reasonable price. First what is good: Write feel is great and if someone is looking for paper / notebook replacement it's a great device, but not everybody will love that it is just personal. Here it's like writing with ball pen it's not for everybody. Screen is crisp and with good contrast, no front light for some can be big "no" for me it's ok, I have another device just for evening reading. Apps are very responsive and well designed for eink and well thought. Gestures help with lasso tool and erase. With lasso I recommend to read manual to check where are areas sensitive for gesture (I didn't and thought something is wrong with my device). Documents linking is very nice and there is whole Digest functionality I didn't even touched. Community is very helpful. Device by design is open, so I can replace battery, add microSD Card and probably in the future change mainboard to better. This is very welcome approach in technology. What could be better: Calendar app that is useless (no way to hand write on day views) no CalDAV support, no iCloud support. So for business use it’s quite limited. Now on beta software that brings some features by plugins, but I think that such essential functionality as good calendar sync should be built in. Task sync only with Supernote app, here CalDAV is essential and some popular platforms should be also supported like Apple reminders, Google Task, Microsoft Task etc... this would improve a lot productivity on this device. Partner app doesn't support for preview all Supernote files.... this is strange. So Atelier drawings you can't preview on app. No even basic editing features like txt or creating txt file. ePub reader has options to set custom fonts but not custom margins so sometimes cuts text on bottom, this is very bad. I can sideload another reader but this should be out of the box. I would like to have faster mode of refresh when scrolling like some vendors have. This is used only when scrolling through pages and helps a lot, this screen should support this, just software is not. I don't know how big development team is on Supernote but checking Roadmap and how long some features are implemented doesn't give a lot of hope for fast improvements. I hope more purchases will help to maybe hire someone to speed up development :)

I love the writing and no distraction from other apps. Updates and the information on what’s new are super nice. My Manta does not feel like piece of Tech and blends in and joins my meetings and daily work kind of incognito. Only thing that I struggle with is the pen. I had to replace my HOM2 for the third time. It rolls down the desk easily to then fall down with a damaged writing piece and once the end of the pen just broke. So a bit vulnerable. But when in order nothing beats the writing. I tried other EMR pens but not even close. Keep going!!!

Beautifully designed! They have thought about the user experience in a well-rounded manner. This tablet is perfect for those who make notes, and it ships with every feature you can think of. Computer sharing/syncing of files, real-time screen-share with your computer to quickly sketch and share your thoughts with others, real-time handwriting transcription to text, allows you to search through your notes. The list goes on, with handy gestures to select text, favourites linking, todo list, etc. I cannot stress enough how everything I was looking for has already been shipped in the box. I cannot speak for those who draw, as I am not using it that way. Also, this is not your tablet if you want to render coloured images (e.g. inside a pdf). It does render coloured images in monochrome, but this is not the tablet you are looking for if this is your focus. Love it so far!

I bought the Supernote Manta after much thought. I like the e-ink, it is a reader, a notebook and a sketchbook for various diagrams that are part of my usual notes and studies. I expected it to be easier to transfer texts from other sources and also sketches to NOTE mode, I don't like the fact that the work with copying objects (Lasso tool) is not very precise where the objects are very close to each other (so I would like a finer distinction). In principle, however, I am satisfied and the positives outweigh the imperfections. I was also satisfied with the smooth and fast shipping.

It has been a ling time since I last bought a device that was made really well and software on it would work for the user, not imposing unneeded features or locking into ecosystems. It does feel like it is my personal device. If it had a magnetically attached pen and baclight then it would be ideal. Besides that, I enjoy using every day.

Great size, love the simplicity and emphasis on a proper paperlike experience. No backlight or anything makes it feel like more of an analog device! I do wish there was a way to look at recent apps and close them, as I assume that they are taking up background ram. I also read a lot of blogs and articles, and an app for that would be great

Its great gear. But the installation is very annoying. It had a bug with WIFI. The button connect is black, thats means you can press it otherwise its grey. But you couldn't. Then you can't go further. Reset and skip wifi. Then its runs on a stop with page 3 of 5 when configuring. Thats a showstopper. Support doesn't answer the phone during business hours. An email took days to get a reaction. AWFULL SUPPORT!!!!!!!! I ordered another branche too and if thats fine i all send this back during the 14 days canceling period. What i hate the most is that these kind of problem are mentioned by other buyers a long tome ago on the internet. And they don'd solved this kind of problems meanwhile. Thats sucks!

Clearly the lead runner in the market. I did some research before buying this for kindle reading and writing, mainly writing purposes. I have tried the software and can either create new documents or, as I have been doing, send files via my laptop in the cloud and edit them on the supernote. This is amazing. Even have some feedback for the developers now of things that would be superhandy for writers: 1) editing has some issues as new handwritten text is added with multiple spaces, even if writing at the end of an existing paragraph. So please have one space as a default, that would be super and save me editing time later. 2) the option to move words (exchange them is great) would love the same function with paragraphs, being able to from a document select and drag a whole paragraph to a new place, unless that already exists and I have missed it? There is a lasso function in notes but not in word, for example. 3) I am already quite happy being able to write for a change and see my writing converted to text, just a great and functional feature. I have had issued with the punctuation marks. it is very hard to get a comma unless rewriting the letter or word before it. Colons have also been an issue. useful to be able to select some options once written as this has helped get around that a lot, but often not showing comma options. I hope this is useful to see how people are using the device and to even push it further ahead of the competition. I would definitely recommend this product to professional writers, writing on the go, wherever you want.

Whoever buys this device, should know what they are getting. For those who's needs are being adressed, you're getting a sold device, that does what it promisses. The wrting feel is like a gelpen on a stack of paper. The pen (Hear of Metal 2) feely very premium. It would have been nice, to have a "click", when putting the cap on the back-end of the pen. There are many areas where the device shines and there are of course areas, where it sits behind the competition. There are plenty of YouTube Videos covering every aspect. I personally am i very happy customer, both with the product itself and also with the service of the company who's employees are very freindly.

Very happy with my purchase of a Supernote Nomad. It's a big investment, and I did a lot of research before deciding on Supernote. I am usually drawn to very slick and finely crafted objects, and at first I was tempted by the Remarkable. But I couldn't be happy with the Nomad - it is immediately fascinating and easy to use, and within a short time it has become indispensible for me to organise my thoughts and notes. I use it for studying, journallying, sketching, to-do lists, but always finding yet new ways I can use it. I love the way the company makes it easy to replace parts, and I ordered the DIY pen which is such a neat feature. Thoroughly recommend, and I've been raving about it to everyone I meet! The purchasing was easy and fast, I haven't yet had to contact support as I haven't had any problems with the device and there is a wealth of information on the internet about how to use it and create templates etc.

A game changer for ADHD people. No more losing notes or struggling with note keeping when attending class. And the fact that it’s designed to be distraction free is pure gold. The writing experience is insanely natural, and the fact that it interacts with a supernote app on my phone and laptop makes data flow and access very very convenient. It’s become the single most productive device I own.

I have been using the Supernote A5X daily for 4 years now. I just love the devices and the company's philosophy, the quality, development, support and community. When my beloved A5X gave up a couple of days ago, I immediately ordered the Supernote Manta. The delivery was fast and flawless, and the new model is even better and more enjoyable to use. Took a few hours in youtube to understand how to to use but after that I cannot work without it. It's perfect for organizing ideas, reading ebooks and writing pretty much anything. I love the fact it has very good background surfaces I can choose from. 5/5!

I received my Supernote Manta last week and it already feels like impossible to go back to paper and pen; I already used it both for reading and writing and my experience has been amazing so far. The ink hub is an incredible useful resource!

Handwriting experience is great. Also the UI logic is easy to learn. And I like the sustainability claim by using individually exchangeable components. Overall a great product. What i would like to see in the future: - automatic language recognition for handwriting (or alternatively ability to set the language of a note manally). I have meetings in different languages and always take notes in the language that is spoken in the meeting. But afterwards converting the notes into text or spelling keywords is difficult because the system always applies the same language settings - creating ToDo-Items for myself during writing. Using stars to mark certain items is great. But it would be even better if I could just mark text as "Action Item" and I could immediately add a due date. Whenever I open the note I would see the action item there. When it resolved I could mark the action item as "completed" and would also see that status when viewing the note. Currently the To-Do section is completely separated from the notes themselves.

Overall the experience was amazing. The thing I would love to see change is for the prices to be more similar to the ones in the US. It becomes too expensive to buy the SuperNote devices in Europe. Nonetheless, I'm loving my SuperNote Manta, it's an amazing device.

I bought Supernote Manta A5X2, half folio and a Heart of Metal Pen. Very well packed. Fast delivery, excellent product! I receive it two days ago and I am still in the process to transfer all my notes (professional and personal). By far one of my best buys :)
