Unprofessional company
I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Istituto Ottico Isolani.
I placed and paid for an order of prescription sunglasses, expecting a professional service from a company selling internationally.
Only after receiving my payment did they inform me that the selected frame and prescription lenses were not compatible with their quality standards. This is something I would expect a professional optical retailer to verify before accepting payment.
To make matters worse, their communication has been extremely poor:
* They communicate in German rather than English, despite dealing with an international customer.
* They contacted me through WhatsApp, but when I replied with questions, they simply stopped responding.
* There has been no meaningful effort to resolve the situation or provide clear alternatives.
I find it particularly frustrating that a company can accept payment so easily but then fail to provide even basic customer support.
If you sell internationally, communicating clearly with customers and responding to their messages should be the absolute minimum standard.
At this point, I have paid for sunglasses that cannot be manufactured as ordered, and I am left without a satisfactory solution.
Based on my experience so far, I cannot recommend this company. Very disappointing and unprofessional.

Product Availability Inaccurate on Website
Item was showing as "available" at checkout. As soon as the transaction was completed I was informed the item was only available "on back order" resulting in a delayed delivery.
As a result I cancelled my order and requested a refund.
