I ordered six check valves for fans with a standard 10 cm diameter from ventilatory.net, Mednet online s. r. o. (Invoice 259904280, Order V400001622). After correctly installing them airtight, I discovered that the check valves would not open. A total of three other different fans were obtained and installed, which were advertised countless times as standard 10 cm fans on Amazon and eBay. Not a single one was able to open the check valves. I requested a free return label, as I am legally entitled to one for products that malfunction. A long discussion ensued, with the result that the company claimed it was not their fault that I was using the wrong fans. The company ignored the argument that these were new, various standard fans currently offered on Amazon and eBay. Although I ordered from a German website, I was forced to pay for an expensive return shipment to the Czech Republic. The obvious reason, in my opinion, was that the high shipping costs made return shipping unnecessary, meaning you had to keep the completely useless product. I sent it back anyway. After some time, someone from the company contacted me to say that they could see traces of assembly, and therefore, where they were visible, they couldn't offer any refunds. Next, the company contacted me to say I had to fill out an endless form, otherwise no refund would be possible. In the ensuing discussion, I made it clear that the company is legally not allowed to require the completed form in any European country and asked whether they really intended to violate this law. Next, the company contacted me to say they couldn't issue a refund because no account had been provided. In the ensuing discussion, I pointed out that, by law, refunds throughout Europe must be made to the account from which the money was received. After a waiting period, the reduced amount arrived. MY OPINION: The company sells completely useless products and refuses to comply with its legal obligation to retrieve non-functioning products at its own expense. Furthermore, they violate applicable laws with their prohibitive, mandatory, endless forms and discussions about refund accounts, as well as the forced, expensive return shipping abroad to ward off a return or cancellation. RECOMMENDATION: Buy anywhere - EXCEPT NOT FROM THIS COMPANY.
