Very efficient and well packed. The prices were also fair. The only minus point is regarding the delivery time. One day after this order, we bought some different products at a competitor (also German) and their products arrived 2 days earlier. We also used the same transport company. This wasn't that bad but comparing companies we would say that the competitor worked internally faster. Despite it, we strongly recommend bike-discount.de!!

price of the bikes are good but no emails saying you have bought it and the waiting time to recieve it 20 to 26 days :-( bought an ebike there 11days again and havent heard anyhting yet (no email saying thanks for.... or we will ship your bike asap ......)

Still waiting for delivery

Mixed experience with the company. I have ordered some bike parts on 19th July, they dispatched it quite quickly, and it was handed over to delivery company DHL the 21st July. The parcel has arrived to DHL export center in Feucht the next day. So far so good. But the latest update was on 23 July, that the parcel was on its way to destination country. It has been over 2 weeks, when I finally had enough and reached out to customer service. They answered the next day and they are investigating my lost parcel as of now. I hope the issue gets resolved soon and I either receive my parcel or getting reimbursed for my purchase.

Wrongly advised by BD

I’m a bit disappointed that I requested help via the contact us on the website and I bought the exactly part the person asked me to and unfortunately it was the wrong part. I found out how hard it is to return an item and the worse part, I was told I have to pay for the item to be returned from Ireland to Germany as well pay another 10 euro to deliver another part, this time the correct one. It would be a surprise but BD should have stepped in and assumed the mistake as helped me out.

Poor communication. The delivery date is well overdue (at the time of this rating requested by Trusted Shops, the bike hasn't arrived yet, so I can't rate anything else). Upon enquiry, only a standard template email was received, nothing specific. If I had known that the delivery would take so long, I would have bought from the local official store where the price was the same and I would use the bike already a couple of weeks ago.

How loyal customers are recognized

The collection of parts that you deliver is quite wide. It consists of mainly good quality items. Hopefully high quality ebike lights from Lupine could be added. Delivery to Finland has taken usually more than a week which is few days more than some other german competitors of yours. From loyal customer point of view it would feel good to be recognized somehow if you buy certain total value of items during 12 months for example.

Delivery was quick but they don't offer free return/excange of wrong items so i had to pay 3 times for the delivery for the same item. (1st order, return of item, 2nd order of same item).Needed to reorder and repay again the same item instead just after receiving returned goods from me send back the item in another size, avoiding double payments and refunds. Too much problems and time consuming.

Unfortunately, we cannot bear the cost of returning goods from every country. If it is a justified complaint, we will of course bear the costs for the return shipment. Unfortunately, we cannot cover the return costs from Croatia for selection orders and similar transactions. We inform our customers transparently on our website about our return conditions and therefore kindly ask for their understanding.

Add possibility to international courier.

Only thing I’d like to be different, is the selection of couriers. When shipping outside Germany both DHL (Deutsche post ) and DPD hands the package over to the local post service - from experience this causes several days of delay and uncertainty. It would be better if you could add international courriers like GLS with them it is easier to track and have packages delivered to a service point.

Bad feedback.

Big shop, good choice, But bad feedback. Very bad. Letters often do not respond, or respond late for several weeks. (I asked questions several times before buying.) 3.07 received a E-bike with defects during transportation. Posted by a letter with a problem 4.07. There is no response to the state of 12.07. P. S. Poor packaging but competitive prices

Poor packaging in combination with "bike discount" in big letters on the tape is inviting thieves to take valuables out of the box. On a previous order, my package just disappeared in transit and it took over 2 months to be reimbursed. Prices for components are still very competitive. in conclusion: good for components, but to be avoided for valuables like gps devices or watches.

Free return is only for a handful of countries

Free return is only available for a small selection of countries (Germany, Belgium, Denmark, France, Luxembourg, the Netherlands and Austria.) not within the EU. That came as a surprise as it is pretty basic feature for other online retailers (ie. Bikeinn) That is OK if you buy bike parts but a big problem if you buy bike clothing. Other than that prices and services are OK.

Good selection with fair price, but slow delivery

If you are not in the hurry, this is one of the best bike shops. If you are ordering a bike to be shipped abroad, prepare for one moth waiting, even if the bike is in the stock, when ordering. Two latest orders of bikes, it has been quite precise one moth total delivery time. First two weeks for packing and then two weeks for delivery with DHL.

Overall good bike, but the rear wheel wasn't trued properly

The rear wheel wasn't trued properly, I did it myself. The bike is ok. It is impossible to put a frame lock on XS size frames. After asking for support to deal with this issue, the support I got was more then poor. I told that there was no bell on the bike and that this was a legal must. They promptly send me a bike bell.

Good, but by benefit of the doubt

The good: friendly and helpful customer service. Painless repair refund. Less good: not sure if due to the lack of Quality Control at the Cube bikes end or that during assembly Bike Dicount did not pay attention; gearhub assembly was not ok. Had to bring the bike to my local bike shop to fix it.

Pros & Cons

Pros: Wide selection of products Cons: 1.It takes a really long time to get answer from customer service. Sometimes it is easier to order from somewhere else than wait for your reply. 2. No free returning from Finland - you should give us at least some kind of flat rate return option.

Good price, slow delivery

Wide selection of mtb parts with reasonable price. Delivery times were much slower than they estimated. Took 3 work days to ship products that were in stock. EU shipping with dpd is rubbish. They kept the products 4-5 work days in the parcel center at my home town before I got them.

Pick, pack & ship times

Delivery times to Finland have gotten a lot worse during the past year or so, but the product range and and pricing is still good. Good thing about the deliveries is the green DHL option though. However, due to 7 or 7+ days wait, I find myself shipping elsewhere more nowdays.

Leider mittlerweile zu lange Lieferzeiten mit fehlenden Komponenten... Nachlieferung dauerte dann ebenfalls fast ne Woche und das Projekt konnte nicht zum eigentlichen Zeitpunkt vollendet werden. Konkurrenz aus Dresden mittlerweile schneller und besser....schade!
