After 14 years of faithful service, the belt on our tumble dryer snapped. Since the authorized service no longer provides support due to its age, I found the belt on Fixpart, picked up a drum bearing as well, and replaced them myself. I ordered a vacuum cleaner filter. There were many options, but I chose FixPart. As the delivery address, I provided my company’s address.
On Good Friday, after work, I went home and was preparing for a trip when the GLS courier called me. He arrived at the address without prior notice, on Good Friday at 4:30 PM, when the company was already closed.
I contacted GLS asking them not to return the shipment, but instead to arrange a new delivery, however my message was ignored. I understand that many complaints relate to GLS’s operations, but they are your partner, so their service affects the overall impression of your company.
The only positive aspect is that I was able to arrange a reshipment of the filter relatively easily, but I had to pay almost 7 euros in additional costs.
