I've worked with millesime in buying wines in my children's birth vintage. I was able to speak in person with Michael Peltier who patiently walked through and explained the best vintages to buy and when they would be available. Their service included after care as they recommended River Wine Cellars for storage until my children would be able to access them.

6 months after ordering a case of Bordeaux in advance of release I called only to be told it had arrived a month earlier. When I asked for it to be delivered I was told I’d have to wait until Thursday . Thursday came and went and it was deliver the following week. No one ever called to tell me it had arrived in NY. No one ever called to tell me it wasn’t going to be delivered the following week .

Awful delay and lack of communication

I’ve had several orders over the years. The last one was the worst example of lack of communication ever. And the delay in delivery was not the 2 months estimated at order time but was 8 months with no updated ETA on the web site. I won’t order from them again

Confusing payment experience

The payment experience was odd, the digital signature seems completely unnecessary and doesn’t protect either party to the same. Shipping fee was high.

On-Line Purchase Availability

I ordered a bottle of wine on-line for a dinner I was attending that night. Once I bought it on-line for in-store pickup I was informed it was not available untiil Tuesday!. I called the store to address the situation and they found me a bottle in the store luckily. Please inform customers of availability dates before they purchase!
