I loved the tiles. The only reason I was disappointed was when I started to tile after more than 2 weeks I found 6 tiles chipped and damaged and I couldn’t get a replacement. They only give you 2 weeks to ask for replacement for damaged tiles which is very unreasonably short.

With regard to the delivery, we sincerely apologize. In this case, the forwarding company unfortunately did not perform as reliably as usual. The transport damage was noted upon delivery, and after you contacted us, we immediately arranged a free replacement for the damaged goods.
Regarding the tiles not being completely straight, we would like to clarify the following:
A slight curvature of porcelain tiles – especially in larger formats – is technically unavoidable and occurs during the cooling process after firing. This minimal bowing is within the applicable DIN EN standards. Tiles exceeding these tolerances would not leave the manufacturer’s factory.
For this reason, both manufacturers and experienced tilers strongly recommend using suitable levelling systems when installing tiles longer than 80 cm. These systems align the tiles while the adhesive cures, ensuring a flat and even floor surface.
Furthermore, due to these technical characteristics, manufacturers expressly advise against installing such formats with a heavy offset pattern (more than 25–30% of the tile length), as this can visually accentuate possible height differences.

Eine leichte Wölbung von Feinsteinzeugfliesen – insbesondere bei größeren Formaten – ist technisch bedingt und entsteht im Abkühlprozess nach dem Brennvorgang. Diese minimale Krümmung liegt innerhalb der geltenden DIN-EN-Normen. Fliesen, die diese Toleranzen überschreiten, würden das Werk des Herstellers nicht verlassen.
Aus diesem Grund empfehlen sowohl die Hersteller als auch erfahrene Fliesenleger bei Formaten mit einer Länge über 80 cm grundsätzlich den Einsatz geeigneter Verlegehilfen (Nivelliersysteme). Diese ziehen die Fliesen während der Trocknungsphase des Klebers plan und sorgen für ein ebenmäßiges Bodenbild.
Ebenso wird bei diesen Formaten aufgrund der technischen Gegebenheiten ausdrücklich von einer Verlegung im starken Versatz (mehr als 25–30 % der Seitenkantenlänge) abgeraten, da hierdurch mögliche Höhenunterschiede optisch verstärkt werden können.
